What’s Happening To America?

In the last four years, up until Covid-19, a lot of good has been happening in America. But now, since we have a new president and a new administration, I see nothing good on the horizon. I will divide this post into two sections: Immediate and ongoing changes.

Immediate Changes

We have already seen many immediate changes to the country due to all of Biden’s executive orders (over 60 of them)—all changes to the bad. I will mention only two things: the canceling of border wall funding and the canceling of the Keystone XL permit.

The canceling of border wall funding is not because they don’t want an ugly wall or because it will have an effect on nature. The only reason why they don’t want a wall is because they want more democrat votes; and they will make any sacrifice to get them. Unfortunately for America, by letting in illegals we are letting in many criminals and drug dealers and drugs. They are pouring in through our southern border right now—and it will continue every day.

The immediate affect of canceling the Keystone pipeline permit has been most devastating. It has meant that many thousands of workers are now out of work. And what was the administration’s response? Get another line of work! Just find another job. Instead of building a pipeline maybe you can build windmills or electric cars. Not a good answer!

Ongoing Changes

Sadly, due to the Biden administration, I see nothing but bad news coming for America. Since illegals will continue to be let into our country, criminals and drugs will continue to flow into every state. And it won’t be stopped anytime soon. Very sad.

I also see America’s economy taking a huge dip downward. I don’t know much about economics, but anyone can logically reason that because Donald Trump in four years made America so economically prosperous, the new administration, by reversing all of Trump’s executive orders, will reverse that surge of prosperity. I think we will quickly see America falling into economic depression like never before.

Thirdly and last, I see an increasing effort to make America more secular—or less of a God believing nation. Recently I found two web sites that promote this effort: Secular Coalition for America, and Secular Democrats of America. If you click on these, you will see that these groups are dedicated to stopping any effort of Christians to pray or witness or to do any of the things that God calls Christians to do. And Biden is all on board with this secular movement. He may term it differently, like stopping right-wing extremism or white supremacy. But, believe me, he wants to make America a secular country—without God, and he is going to make every effort to do it.

The good news for Christians is that all of the bad news for America means that Jesus will be coming very soon. We need to be ready. And, in the meantime, we should take comfort in the knowledge that our new country is waiting for us!

Struggling with Prayer

On this day, after the forty-sixth Presidential inauguration, when the country, according to the media, finally is at peace and at rest and unified, there are some of us (me) who are not at rest and struggling. Though the world says peace and safety at last, I know differently. Though the newspapers and the TV media are smiling and showing a sigh of relief, I am tense and on guard. All is really not going well, and won’t go well. The left is planning war against us Christians. They are scheming against us. And the devil is taking advantage of our unrest. He is and will come against us to destroy us so that we will not rise again. What can be done?

I have been blogging on the Lord’s Prayer, and so, I think this is a good time to put it all together and really try to better my own prayer habits from that Lord’s-Prayer-outline. I, and we all need more and better prayer at this time. If you have been following my blog posts on this prayer, we have pointed out that there is an invocation, “Our Father in Heaven”; then six petitions. The first three have to do with prayer for the glory of God; and then the next three have to do with our own needs.

The struggle for me is how to use this prayer outline in my own prayers. If I pray according to my own feelings and inclinations, I probably won’t use the outline at all; I will just tell God how I feel. If I do that, His prayer outline becomes useless. But if I force myself to use the outline, then my prayers usually become mechanical and sometimes without much heart. So, what do I do? I have to tell you that I haven’t completely figured it out yet. But I have some ideas that I am now thinking about, that I think will allow my prayer to get better. So here are my ideas.

My goal will be to use the Lord’s Prayer outline as a guide and yet to find a way to pray with my heart in it—so that His prayer outline will also be my outline, and also that I will be praying with my own heart.

The first thing that I think will be very helpful is to write out my prayers using the Lord’s prayer as a guide, and to try to write as much as I can. I will have the goal of writing a seven-page prayer with each page under the heading of one of the Lord’s Prayer points. So, on page one I will write on “Our Father.” Then on page two I will write on “Hallowed be Thy name,” and so on. And to make it less mechanical, I will really work on getting smooth transitions from page to page. Maybe on some days, when I have more time, I will try to write two pages per outline point, making it a fourteen-page prayer. I will continue this prayer writing exercise for many days, maybe for a few months.

Next, when I feel that I have mastered the writing, I will try to pray just in my thoughts without writing it out. And each time I do it, I will try to pray with my heart and all the while asking Him to help me pray.

As I think on these ideas, I am so aware that prayer is a struggle and hard work. It is hard to pray correctly and hard to train my mind to be attentive to Him. This is so much of what prayer is—being attentive to Him. It will also be challenging to get everything to fit where it belongs; that is, where in the prayer outline do I confess sins, and where do I pray for friends, and so many other things. These are things that need to be worked out in the prayer writing; and then hopefully, when I graduate from the writing, I will have it figured out—so that in the end I will know how to pray to the Father appropriately and with praise.

In all that I have written here I am mainly talking about your private prayers. Public prayer may be similar, but not as long. I think public prayers should always be short, as not to appear prideful, and also to allow others to pray.

Five Reasons Why the U. S. May Have No Significant Role in End Time Events

Bible prophecy scholars say that the United States is not a player in the end times. There seems to be no key role that the U. S. will play. Here are five reasons why we see this happening:

1. The U. S. may have a President that doesn’t take a stand on anything. Thus, the U. S. may just blend in with the rest of the world. If Biden becomes our next President, we definitely see this happening.

2. Bill Barr is now saying that there is no wide spread evidence of voter fraud. That is hard to hear. He is wrong. There is plenty evidence—a lot of it. Evidently, he is looking to stay in his position in a Biden administration.

3. Many judges are not doing their jobs. Some are refusing to even look at the voter fraud evidence.

4. The media is praising Biden and Harris and what they intend to bring to America. Thus, they are casting a cloud of delusion over America.

5. The Rapture of the Church may soon occur. With all Christians gone, how will America survive? There will be no true spiritual voice, no true guidance. America will be easily taken over by Communism. We already see this happening.

America seems to be headed for disaster. However, for the Christian, we can look up and rejoice because our redemption draws near!

Warning Against the Great Reset

If you haven’t heard of the great reset, it is what all the globalists are now talking about. It is all about global currency and global government, and is connected to the world economic forum. It is what Biden and Harris are pushing. They say that covid-19 has now provided this opportunity. Thus, it is a chance to reset everything. Reset what? Well, surprisingly, it is to reset to socialism and communism.

If that surprises you, listen to what Kamala Harris has said. She wants everyone to end up at the same place. Listen. She didn’t say that she wants everyone to get the same opportunity; she wants everyone to end up having the same amount of money. That’s communism! That’s total government control!

Let me back up. I’ve been listening to Curtis Bower. He seems to know what he is talking about. Here are some sketchy notes that will answer the question, what is going on today in America?

  • We are now experiencing a top-down revolution, backed by communist groups; rather, Democrat controlled communist groups.
  • We are experiencing an engineered coup where those who co-operate are termed useful idiots—like BLM, Antifa, and Biden.
  • Top Democrats are saying things like, “We have to burn down the Republican party.” Clearly many of the Dem’s want only one party—a Democrat party.
  • Big business is funding the Dem’s.
  • Big business and Democrats and Marxists are teaching our children to hate America.
  • Trump and his prosperity have been a disaster to the left, because the way they get power is to create chaos so they will have something to sell.
  • Everything (I mean everything) the Dem’s do is for an evil purpose, because they have been sold into communism.
  • Biden. Biden is one of those useful idiots. He is being used by the Dem’s to push the communist evil agenda. Biden cares only for himself and his family. He cares nothing about America and for what is right.
  • Fox news. There are a few good one in Fox news. But as of today, 90% of Fox have gone to the evil side, socialism and communism.
  • The press. One of the goals of communism is to influence the press. And they have done it!
  • The church. Communism is now out to shut down the church. They have recently been doing it, thanks to Covid-19. The communists are now praising Covid-19 and all the governors who have led the way.
  • The communists, who are now controlling the Dems, are seeking the destruction of western values—like the family and the church.

What must Christians do?

  1. Christians must stand tall for the truth and righteousness.
  2. Christians need to become involved more in government leadership in order to influence government.
  3. Christians need to have hope that in the end they will be victorious, even if the nation falls.
  4. Pray. Pray for the President and your governor to do the right thing. And pray for yourself and all Christians to be strong in the faith and believe God.
  5. Christians need to keep their ears open to the truth. We no longer can get the truth from Fox news, but there are many other reliable news sources. Here are a few:
