8 Trends Toward A One-World Government

Here are eight trends that are bringing us closer to the one-world antichrist empire (from the book, Foreshadows:12 Megaclues that Jesus’ Return Is Nearer Than Ever, by Steve Miller).

1. A trend toward rule by power elites. It is interesting and kind of shocking that a majority of citizens disagree with the powerful economic elites. Nonetheless, most policymaking these days is dominated by powerful business organizations and a small number of affluent Americans.

2. A trend toward blind loyalty. We are seeing that people more and more are not thinking for themselves, and they are too lazy to investigate what is true. They are regarding loyalty to their party as more important than what is right and true. We see this esp. on the issue of abortion. It didn’t use to be this way. But today 100% of Democrats are for abortion and 100% of Republicans are for pro-life. This is so sad; in the end times people will blindly obey their government because of loyalty regardless of what is right.

3. A trend toward greater dependance upon government. We see this esp. in the area of universal health care—free health care! And this will pull the people to love and depend on their government—as their god.

4. A trend toward tightening the reins of power. We see that country leaders more and more are wanting to be authoritarians: China, Russia, North Korea, Turkey, Venezuela, Cambodia and more. Even the U. S. seems to be headed in that direction with its many executive orders and wanting to pack the court. Anything to get more control. And in the end the antichrist will be an absolute dictator.

5. A trend toward authoritarian governments advancing their agendas abroad. Today, thanks to globalism and technology, they can readily export their way of doing thing all over the world. China esp. has done this on a colossal scale.

6. A trend toward community identity. In communism and socialism, the state reigns supreme in people’s lives. Children belong to the state not the family; the state becomes the family. This ideology has become a major means of giving people a sense of community.

7. A trend toward expanding authoritarian power through technology. Both China and Russia have been involved in this—to exert their influence worldwide. But they use technology to manipulate information and the media, and to lie.

8. A trend toward silencing freedom of speech. This is a big one! In order for totalitarianism to succeed, freedom of speech (people that hold differing views) must be extinguished.

So what is a Christian to do in this changing world? Here are a few points:

  • Do not rebel under evil authority. Jesus never encouraged that.
  • Work at changing people’s hearts. Only the gospel can do that. Our greatest weapon for bringing about change is the gospel.
  • It is possible for us, as Christians, to live and persevere without freedom of speech.
  • Don’t be discouraged; trust in God.

Four Trends Toward Greater Globalism

I have been reading the book Foreshadows: 12 Megaclues That Jesus’ Return Is Nearer Than Ever, by Steve Miller. It is quite good. I think it is definitely worth blogging. The first foreshadow he discusses is The Rise of Globalism—so today I will write about that trend.

Four Trends Toward Greater Globalism

1. More advanced Technology. There are now many more connected devices in the world, bringing the world together more than ever before, such as: smartphones, computers, cameras, sensors, smart speakers, etc.

2. More powerful global corporations—that network the world.

3. More global coalitions and groups—that network the world. These would include The World Economic Forum, The United Nations, The G20 (that promotes international collaborations).

4. More emphasis on the world as a global community. This global community has a goal to change the way the world is governed.

  • They are and will deal with global problems
  • They will work as one to bring solutions
  • They will discuss what the Great Reset is, what they intend to do, and how they reimagine the world.

Some of these trends sound not so bad, even good. But if the leaders are not moral people, and don’t believe in God, that spells danger. Here are some of the dangers in globalism:

  • There will be less freedom. We saw this during the Covid-19 pandemic, how they handled it.
  • Government power will expand and be the norm.
  • Globalism leaves out God, rejects God as a solution, and ignores sin as a problem.

Digital Tyranny Coming Soon – 6 Points

In the back of my mind, I’m always wondering how safe my savings is and when this new digital currency is coming. Being a Christian, I’m not too concerned, but it always pays to be somewhat cautious.

I just read an article by John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute on this subject. I will share six points from it.

  1. The government has come up with a new plan to make it easier for its agents to seize Americans’ bank accounts. It will be by the digital dollar.
  2. President Biden, on March 9, 2022, issued an Executive order calling for the federal government to consider establishing a U.S Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Look out!
  3. Meanwhile, the FBI and the Justice Department have quietly moved ahead with plans for a crypto-currency enforcement team (digital money cops). What will they be doing?
  4. The government will tell us that they are giving us tools to make our lives easier, but they will also be tracking and controlling us. Be aware!
  5.   In spite of modern conveniences in our currency, the new trends signal the beginning of the end for what little privacy we have left and for government thieves.
  6. We can only hope and trust that those in power will treat our information with respect. Pray that they do.

To all Christians: be aware that the Church age is winding down gloriously fast. Let us hang on until the end—when Jesus comes to take us to the Father.

To all nonbelievers and doubters: Since you are not a member of the universal church, you will get the worst of this digital tyranny. Please give your heart to Christ while there is still time. Believe in Him and read His Word, the Bible.

Living for Likes

I ran across a short article by Hal Lindsey entitled, “Living for Likes on Social Media.” He insinuated that we in America have “made a god out of popularity on social media.” Ouch! That is kind of convicting. I think that we all like to be liked by others, but I think we can let it go too far. When we start to live for those likes, when we go out of our way to get more likes on Facebook, we go too far.  We may be guilty of making a god out of popularity.

Well, I’m not on Facebook, but I’m on a blog—as you know. And I don’t get very many likes—just one or two per blog. I sort of wish I would get more, just to know that someone is reading me. But now that I read this article by Lindsey, I feel better—more content. I don’t want to be included in the group that is bowing down to the god of popularity. And it is so sad just to think that there are so many doing it.

The Meaning of Identity Socialism

Most of us have heard of identity politics. Well, identify socialism is similar but it has a whole new application. And, as far as I know, it is a term made up by the bestselling author Dinesh D’Souza. So, we will start by some of his words.

An Article by Dinesh D’Souza

What is Identity Socialism?

Dinesh D’Souza

There’s a new socialism in town. I call it “identity socialism.” The old socialism, the kind Karl Marx dreamed up, was all about the working class—the sort of blue-collar worker who, ironically, voted for President Trump. But today’s socialist couldn’t care less about the guy in the hardhat. He had his chance at revolution and blew it. Today’s socialist is all about race, gender and transgender rights. Class is an afterthought.

To understand this is to understand the left’s takeover of the college campus and all the ills that takeover has spawned: from Me Too to Black Lives Matter to girls competing against biological boys. But campus culture has now metastasized into the culture of the whole society. As liberal writer Andrew Sullivan has put it, “We all live on campus now.”

Identity socialism is, first and foremost, about division. Not just class division, but now race division, gender division, transgender division. Blacks and Latinos are in; whites are out. Women are in; men are out. Gays, bisexuals, transsexuals, transgenders are in; heterosexuals are out. Illegals are in; native-born citizens are out.

One may think this is all part of the politics of inclusion, but to think that is to get only half the picture. The point, for the left, is not merely to include, but also to exclude.

So where did this identity socialism come from? Meet Herbert Marcuse.

Born in Berlin in 1898, Marcuse fled Germany at the dawn of the Nazi era. After stints at Columbia, Harvard and Brandeis, Marcuse moved to California, where he joined the University of California at San Diego in 1965. You’d think that living in a paradise like Southern California, with all the comforts and privileges of academic life, might have softened Marcuse’s Marx-like hatred of capitalism. But it was not to be. If anything, the more he prospered, the more he wanted to bring the system down.

He had a problem, however. A big one. Socialism didn’t work in America. Life was too good. The working class in the US didn’t aspire to overthrow the existing order; they aspired to own a home. How could you foment revolution without revolutionaries? Classic Marxism had no answer for this. But almost a hundred years after Marx, Marcuse did: The answer was college students. They would be the recruits for what he termed the “Great Refusal”—the repudiation and overthrow of free-market capitalism.

Conditions were perfect. The students of the ‘60s were already living in what was, in effect, a socialist commune: a university campus. Rather than being grateful to their parents for providing them with this opportunity to learn and study, they were restless and bored. Most importantly, they were looking for meaning—a form of self-fulfillment that went beyond material gratification.

Of course, as with all successful social movements, timing was critical. Here Marcuse was very fortunate. The ‘60s was the decade of the Vietnam War. Students faced the prospect of being drafted. Thus, they had selfish reasons to oppose the conflict. Marcuse and his acolytes turned this selfishness into righteousness by teaching the students that they weren’t draft dodgers; they were noble resisters who were part of a global struggle for social justice.

Marcuse portrayed Ho Chi Minh and the Vietcong as a kind of Third World proletariat, fighting to free themselves from American imperialism. This represented a transposition of Marxist categories. The new working class were the Vietnamese “freedom fighters.” The evil capitalists were American soldiers serving on behalf of the American government.

Marcuse found, in addition to the students, other groups ripe for the taking. The first was the Black Power movement, which was a militant adjunct to the civil rights movement. The beauty of this group, from Marcuse’s point of view, was that, unlike white students, its members wouldn’t have to be instructed in the art of grievance; blacks had grievances that dated back centuries. Through another Marxist transposition, blacks would become the working class; whites, the capitalist class. Race, in this analysis, took the place of class.

Another emerging source of disgruntlement was the feminists. Marcuse recognized they too could be taught to see themselves as an oppressed class. This, of course, would require a further Marxist transposition: Women would now be viewed as the working class and men, the capitalist class; the class category would now be shifted to gender.

Marcuse recognized that educating and mobilizing all these groups—the bored students, the aggrieved blacks, and the angry feminists—would take time. But he wasn’t in a hurry. Soon enough, the radical students would be the radical professors teaching identity socialism to a fresh crop of impressionable recruits.

Over time, Marcuse believed, the university could produce a new type of culture, and that culture would then spill into the larger society to infect primary education, the news media and entertainment. Even big business—the hated capitalist class itself—would succumb.

He was right. Identity socialism has arrived.

A Short Summary of D’Souza’s Article

Identity Socialism came from the mind of Herbert Marcuse. Herbert was born in Germany in 1898, and, later in life he moved to California. Well, because of his schooling and influence he grew to hate capitalism and to develop his own ideas about socialism, which was all about division and who was in and who was out: race division, gender division, transgender division. Blacks and Latinos are in; whites are out. Women are in; men are out. Gays, bisexuals, transsexuals, transgenders are in; heterosexuals are out. Illegals are in; native-born citizens are out. Here are three points to consider:

  • Students in the 60’s. Students in the 60’s were looking for meaning in life. Marcuse set out to recruit them for his socialist movement. He would teach them that they were part of a global struggle for social justice.
  • Other recruits. He also found others for his movement: from the Black Power movement and from the feminist movement.
  • Marcuse looked to the Universities. Marcuse believed that the Universities would produce a new type of culture and that they would infect primary education, the media, entertainment and big business.

More Background on Herbert Marcuse

Here is some information that is not in the article but is in D’Souza’s book United States of Socialism. Besides Herbert’s education in Germany at Columbia, Harvard and Brandeis, at the University of Freiburg he studied under Heidegger. Well, we can stop right there and know that he is on his was down. Heidegger is entirely anti-God. Here are some words from Heidegger:

We are finite beings, thrown into the world with no knowledge of where we came from, what we are here for or where we are going…we go through life like a twig in a current, steered by a tide of sociability and conformity. Thus we lose ourselves…we cannot rely on God to show us the way; we are alone in the world, and have to find a way for ourselves.

A Scriptural Perspective

Well, to look at Herbert Marcuse’s divisions and exclusions of people and people groups, you have to question his morality and his view of God and Scripture.

First of all, God wants us to love and accept all people of all races and genders.

And God has given us His Word to guide us and show us truth. He will show us the way, contrary to what Heidegger says.

God has given us moral principles that will help us and protect us. It looks to me like Marcuse has got everything backwards. He has exalted the immoral and the rebellious and has excluded those who are godlier and who follow His Word.

Conclusion. All that Herbert Marcus has set out to do to form his identity socialism beliefs is entirely against God, and it has been developed according to his ungodly and immoral teaching—teaching that are entirely demonic. All of Marcuse’s teachings and all of the human philosophy that he has ascribed to is of the devil and is a rebellion against God. They are like a child that continually says NO to a parent who tells the child not to behave in a certain way.

Update: Feelings about every Little Thing

I’ll start off with my overall feelings—how I feel, generally, about everything, about every little thing. I mean it seems like so many things are beginning to pile up on me and making me anxious. I suppose that’s why I think it’s time for an update. I need a vent. I need to put things in perspective, to organize, and most of all to bring things to the Lord—the One who knows it all and who cares.

I can’t find an adequate description of how things are with me. There are fears and worries and tiredness and some regrets and some health issues and just a lack of clarity about things. And then I worry about what is happening to me. Okay, I have a list I want to work through—mainly for my sake, but you can listen in if you want.

The News

I heard the other day that, I think it was about 65% of people, don’t believe the news—TV news, newspapers, all of it. News people these days have an agenda. They aren’t true journalists. They have a plan. They write the way they want to influence people. For instance, the reason that they are writing in the papers and on TV news about the Jan. 6th subpoenas and about those who are refusing to come, it is all an effort to get people to think badly about what Donald Trump did—so that they will think twice about voting for him. Again, its all politics. Its all about stopping Trump. It’s so sick! I could say more, but I think that’s enough on news for now.

My Reading

I’m reading United States of Socialism, by Dinesh D’Souza. Generally, I think it’s a good book—very informative and true. But sometimes, like the news, it gets to be too negative. I guess I have to also be reading the Word. It’s like drinking coffee. For every gulp of coffee, we should also take one or two gulps of water, especially on hot days when I am working outside. My doctor told me that.

My Writing

I’m an author, so most of my writing will be on a book. And then I will transfer parts of it to my blog. I’m writing now on the Tribulation. That sounds pretty negative, but I’m actually being blessed by the writing—because I’m using the bible as my main source. I’ve gotten to the point now where most of what I write comes out good on the first try—no editing requited. But recently that’s not been true—because of a hard passage in Revelation. Anyway, I was fairly sure of this one thing I wrote. Then last night because of additional reading on it, I know now that I will have to change it. It must be changed. And when you are writing a biblical commentary on a passage, it is critical to get it right. And when you do finally get it right after the second or third try it will always be a blessing and worth the effort.

My Jobs

It’s always nice to take time off. But I’m getting the itch now to go back to work—at least a little. Oh, I’m a house painter if you didn’t know. I’m retired, but I’m thinking that as long as I feel good enough to work, and want to, I will. I like painting and I especially like doing it to help people. It’s something God has gifted me at and put me into. However, it seems that because of my aging, I have more worries about it—about every aspect of it: doing it right, not falling off a ladder, pleasing people, all of it. Well, I’ve come to the end now on this blog and I feel better. Thank the Lord.

The January 6th Trial: Out to Get Trump!

The Jan 6th trial is not about saving America. It is just about getting Donald Trump.

I am so sick of these illegal trials—or whatever you call it (hearings). I read today in my newspaper that the rioters were “heavily armed with military-grade equipment and AR-15s”… and that they “had guns, knives, oversized sticks, bear spray and spears.”

Well. if they had all of that, why is it that no one was killed—only one girl was shot by the D.C. police. It’s all a bunch of lies!

This whole Jan 6th trial is illegal and fraudulent—because it is all one sided. They have not allowed anyone from the other side to testify at all. All the witnesses are out to get Trump. YOU KNOW THAT! It is all focused on accusing Trump. They (Pelosi and company) have one goal: to prosecute Trump and prevent him from running again.

If they had allowed witnesses from the “real GOP” you would hear a different story—that Trump called for 20,000 National guard to come. But Pelosi rejected it. Why? I think she wanted the riot to happen so that she could entrap Trump. Yes, I think Pelosi is mostly to blame—she is extremely evil! And Liz Cheney is in on it too. It is obvious that she has a personal long-standing grudge against Trump. She has been angry at him for a long time. She is so bitter and self-righteous! You can see it on her face.

Why are we letting this thing continue?

But you know that if it wasn’t Jan. 6th it would be something else. Any little thing. Today I heard that Trump threw ketchup on someone! Terrible! A Federal crime. What will they say next?

Will God allow this to go on much longer?

I pray that they will be trapped in their own trap.

The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;

their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.

16 The Lord is known by his justice;

the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.

Ps 9:15-16

When Good and Bad Clash

It seems that, with this new abortion ruling, we are seeing new extremes for good and for bad. The abortionists are venting their anger and the pro-lifers are venting their joy. I just hope we pro-lifers will not feel sorry for the sad abortionists. They have been guilty of sin too long. Their time has come. Let them meet God.

Similarly, let all Christians see sin and evil for what it is. If there are evil spirits and demons, let them be called out in Jesus’ name. If there is ongoing sin, let it be quickly rejected. It is time now to stand strong for Jesus.

There will soon be coming on the earth the ultimate stand-off between good and evil. It will happen after the Rapture—so we might see it from heaven. It will be the battle between the two witnesses who will preach the truth, and the Antichrist who is full of lies and deceit. This battle will go on for three and a half years until God’s restraints are lifted off of the Antichrist, and he will kill the witnesses. Then we will see how evil the world is. They will rejoice over their death. And will let them lie dead for three and a half days. Then when God raises them to life and takes them to heaven, we will see the good and godly ones rejoice. (Revelation 11)

So, make no mistake, there is now good and evil, and we all live and work together. We very often smile at each other and try to be at peace. But at other times, we see the differences and we clash. Sometimes it is hard to see who people are. But Jesus has said, one lives for God, the other for the devil. I think it is best that the truth be known. It is never good to live in deception. Let the truth set you free.

Now let me be clear, those who speak against the six Supreme Court justices that ruled against abortion and against all pro-life people, those are on the side of evil! Their father is the devil! Jesus said in Luke 17:1-2,

It is inevitable that stumbling blocks should come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

Hence, let the battle continue, good against evil, until finally God overcomes all evil and Jesus reigns over all.

13 States to Quickly Enact Abortion Bans

I am so happy that 13 states are now quickly enacting bans on abortion. The thirteen states are Arkansas, Kentucky, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. Most of these states are immediately enacting bans with punishments and prison terms for those who disobey the states’ laws. A few states will wait for 30 days for the ban to go into effect. And most of the states will have some exceptions like rape and incest.

It is my hope and prayer that other states will follow the example of these thirteen. They are saying that thirteen more will likely ban abortion too. That’s great news!

Abortion is not supported anywhere in the constitution. And it is not a woman’s right to choose an abortion. Abortion is murder!

Let us be glad for these thirteen states and thirteen more to follow; and let us pray for them, because they will be attacked. They need our prayers and support.

My Great Discovery: I Can Laugh at the Evil World – Psalm 2:4

What does a Christian do in this evil world—with all the progressivism, with constant attacks on conservativism and Christianity, with government mandates, with wokeism, with all the fraud, especially with voting and in the media? If we think it is best to keep up with the news in order to be informed and to bring a positive influence, there will always be suffering—because the world is against us; it hates us.

So, this has been my dilemma and battle and cause of great sadness—to see the world falling down all around me, and to be inflicted as Lot was (2 Pt. 2:7-8). But recently, I have discovered a wonderful answer—some ways to bring help. There are a few of them.

My Discovery, Part 1 – I Can Laugh with God (from Psalm 2)

I will start with what God showed me in Psalm 2. Verses 1-3 kind of describes what is going on right now with globalism and the Great Reset, and all other such evil movements. We see it quite clearly here in these verses. They are taking counsel together against us Christians and all who are godly, and they are plotting to destroy us in order to exalt their own evil system—which eventually will become the government of the Antichrist.

But what does God do? What is His reaction to all this evil plotting against Him? He laughs! Because He knows how foolish they are and how all their plotting and planning will come to nothing. And He knows that soon His Son will take possession of all the nations of the earth and He will break them with a rod of iron in His New Kingdom which we call the Millennium (verses 6-9).

So this is my great discovery: since I am in Christ and I sit with God and His Son in the heavenly places (1 Cor. 2:6), I can laugh with Him at all that is going on in the world. God is not the least bit affected or disturbed by it, so I shouldn’t be either. And I can and should see how foolish the nations are in all their foolish plotting. And I, with God, can see how it all will end—when Christ rules the world in His wonderful kingdom of peace and love.

My Discovery, Part 2 – Being in the Word and in Prayer Helps

More recently, God reinforced what He showed me earlier in a much different way. He showed me that I can have some comfort and peace (from the evils of the world) in knowledge—knowledge of truth, of Him, and of His word. There is some knowledge to be gained in books that speak the truth (about many things); but a greater knowledge is in the bible and also in prayer.

My Discovery, Part 3 – In Bible Prophecy

When I study bible prophecy and thus learn many things of the future, this gives me an unbelievable edge on all the so called “elite” and experts in the world. I know some things they don’t know—because they regard the bible as foolishness. Hence, with this future knowledge I, with God, sit with Him and laugh!

This discovery was greatly reinforced one evening as I was sitting on my couch watching one of my favorite TV series, 24. It is a series of 24 highly dramatic hour-long shows staring Kiefer Sutherland, as Jack Bauer, where Jack and a cast of other CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) workers are constantly, for 24 hours, trying to counter terrorist activities against America. I love the show, but it has been a constant stress to me, especially seeing it for the first time. But I discovered that seeing these shows for the second and third time is significantly less stressful—because I know what’s going to happen. So, it gives me an entirely different perspective. And this is how we can and should view what is going on in the world.

So, when I learn (from my reading) what Klaus Schwab is doing and planning in his Great Reset, and what John Kerry is doing in his climate change stuff, and what Stephanie Kelton I doing with her Modern Monetary Theory (that we can just print more money), and what President Biden is up to, I should not worry or be stressed out, and I can actually laugh at it all and be at peace—because I know what is going to happen! I have seen the movie, and guess what? God wins! And we win!
