Changing the news channel is the solution to so many conservatives these days. I can see how that will reduce your stress and give you peace. But is that the real solution? Can you really go through life without knowing what’s going on in the world? Doesn’t God want you to be aware of things so you can pray intelligently? Isn’t it our Christian duty to try to make our country and our world a better place? If we are commanded by God to pray for our leaders, should we not also know what to pray for them (1 Tim. 2:2)?
I know that almost all of the news these days is slanted toward the left side. But there are things we can do. When I read the newspaper, I generally just read the title and only as much as I can stand. And I always talk to myself about it and ask questions. Here are four articles headlines I read—with my comments and questions.
Parents relieved as Pfizer seeks child vaccine approval
–But how many parents really want this?
Trump tried to pressure atty. General
—Yes, he was trying to do what’s right! He was trying to stop the election fraud! Is anyone tired of all the Trump bashing?
Senate Ok’s temporary debt limit extension
–Is that really good news? Do we really want more debt?
Biden makes case for vaccine requirements
—Is that good to take away our freedom?
I think it is important to ask questions. Also, I think it is important to have alternative news sources—other than the mainstream sources. Fox news is still fairly good. I know that they have tried to plug in those liberal voices to make it fair or something, but you have a brain and you can see what voices are the best.
Check your radio stations. Here in Minnesota, there are a number of channels that have more conservative voices. Here is a list of them that I think are fairly good.
Clay Travis and Buck Sexton program (they are replacements to Rush Limbaugh)
Yes, why were our military high-powered weapons left for the Taliban? We could have prevented it. We could have planned and carried out a better result. Why didn’t we?
I want to tell you why. In my opinion, it is because the globalists who are planning the Great Reset (or “build back better”) are really in charge of Biden and America.
They planned for this to happen!
They wanted a Taliban take over.
They wanted them to take our tanks and planes and guns. Yes, I think they planned it all out, every detail.
Because their ideology is to reduce America.Their ultimate goal is that all nations will be equal in power and easily controlled—controlled by a world dictator.
So America, in their belief, needs to be significantly reduced in power—militarily and economically and in every way.
And this is why they have installed Joe Biden. They knew he would listen and obey their orders. And they knew he would be an ineffective leader and a blunderer.
And know also that they have ongoing plans for future puppets. And they will continue to mess with our voting system and our voting machines. They plan to allow only the votes that they want to be counted—just like California does it.
Yes, and they plan to disallow forests to be managed, so that America has more and more fires.
And they plan for less and less people to be free. They plan for more mask wearing and for more mandates.
Back to Afghanistan and the Taliban. They, the reset people, whoever they are, are making plans for more and more of the Taliban and Al Qaeda and even ISIS to terrorize the world. And they plan for those animals to come into our country and terrorize and kill us.
And, oh yes, they also plan for groups like BLM to influence our government and our laws, to make us more lawless and so to make us more immoral people, and fearful people, so to destroy us! Again, so that we would be knocked down a few notches and made controllable. That is their plan.
What’s happening in America and what can we do? I just heard Newt Gingrich on his podcast. He has good things to say about what’s happening. I also listen to Bill O’Reilly and he also knows what’s going on and what should be done. The problem is, no one is stepping up and doing anything. The President needs to be impeached, now. But no one is willing to start the process. Of course, who wants to or is good enough to replace him. We don’t want Harris in there, or Pelosi. So, we may be stuck with who we have. And do we know who is really holding the reins? Do we know who the real President is? I think it is among those who are telling him to “build back better.” It is no doubt a group of globalists. It is the same group that illegitimately got him into office. And make no mistake, they knew he would follow their directives. I wonder how it is all done? What secret dimly lit room do they go to, to get their orders? We need some good spies to check that out! And break it open.
The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. (1 Samuel 2:4) Unless you have completely isolated and insulated yourself from the outside world (and I would not blame you if you have; sometimes I wish I could completely detach from the constant flow of bad news), you […]
Though we are a long way from troubles in Afghanistan, Christians should take time to pray for them. Though prayer may at times seem to be a little thing, we are called to do it, and we must believe that God will hear and answer.
Pray for those who are waiting to get out. Pray for them to be patient and to cry out to God for His help. As they fear the Taliban, pray that they would cling to God for His deliverance. Pray especially for the young women who are in grave danger of being taken by the Taliban as wives—but they will be abused and raped. May God not allow it!
I pray that God will use this hard situation to turn people to Him for help and for their salvation. I pray that America will see how this administration and the President has really bungled it and that we will demand a new president. Biden is proving his poor leadership and mental deficiency.
Pray also for all Americans that in this time of trouble and chaos many will turn to God and trust Him. Pray that they will see that their only hope is a new life in Christ. That they will see the hopelessness in the old life.
Afghanistan has been in the news lately. A tragedy! My thoughts are this: We never should have even thought about pulling out. I’m sure there are different things we could have done, but my view is that as long as there is evil in the world, good governments have the responsibility to resist evil—even by war. Yes, it is the role of a nation’s government to resist and fight against evil forces. We find this over and over again in the bible. Also, I believe God has put a war-like spirit in the heart of every man to fight against evil. It is a holy and righteous desire to fight and be victorious over evil and evil governments. I am not a war-monger. I am a realist and one who desires peace and righteousness for all. As long as there is evil in the world, war is necessary. I do think peace talks are good; however, when evil reaches a certain point to where talk is pointless, then groups like Isis and AL Qaeda and the Taliban, the only thing they will listen to is war. They need to be destroyed.
I am excited to hear that a woman has come forward and filed a criminal complaint against Gov. Cuomo for groping her. It’s the best thing for all—for New York, for the country, for this woman, and also for Gov. Cuomo. Confessing the truth is always best, and even though Cuomo will probably not confess and agree with the charge, his conviction and possible arrest and demotion will be a great victory for the side of good.
Masks and Shots
I am generally not in favor of masks and vaccines. I think hydroxychloroquine is a much better idea, and there are some other very good drugs out there too. But nonetheless, I’m trying not to get too bent out of shape over the whole mask and vaccine thing. There are some who really fight it, but I guess I’m just not that type. I tend to just let things happen and go with the flow. I know we need warriors who will fight for our rights and freedoms; but for me, I’m not sure its all that important. There are so many other things that are worth fighting for, but shots and masks are not on my list. Except maybe for the kids. Your kids should not be forced to wear masks. That’s ridiculous and not necessary. They are not that apt to get covid. I can’t imagine kids having to sit all day in a classroom with a mask on. I am all for what Gov. Desantis of Florida is doing.
Mask and Vaccination Mandates: An indication of Jesus’ Coming
I hate wearing the mask and dread doing it again—I am waiting for it. But I consider it my Christian duty to suffer through it without complaining. I do think that the evil forces in this world are using this whole thing for evil purposes—to condition people to fall in line with the dictator—who will eventually be the Antichrist. It is coming! Until that time I sit and wait for His coming. And the worse things get, I will take it as an indication and a reminder that time is short and His coming is soon. He is our blessed hope.
There seems to be two sides to Critical Race Theory. In one respect CRT is merely a broad study of race and racism. It is a changing package of ideas. It is a bunch of so-called race scholars trying to make sense out of our country as it is—a racist country; they are trying to understand how we got where we are. But another side of CRT is more dominant. These race scholars I think have a strategy: to infiltrate society and our schools with their ideas. But I’m not sure what their ultimate goal is. They may say it is to make society better; but at what cost? I fear it is at the cost of Socialism and even Communism.
In my reading on this topic I ran across this interesting article that was very revealing to me: A Lesson on Critical Race Theory. Here are a few quotes from the article on what CRT is.
A practice of interrogating the role of race and racism in society.
It critiques how the social construction of race and institutionalized racism perpetuate a racial caste system that relegates people of color to the bottom tiers.
CRT recognizes that race intersects with other identities, including sexuality, gender identity, and others.
CRT recognizes that racism is not a bygone relic of the past. Instead, it acknowledges that the legacy of slavery, segregation, and the imposition of second-class citizenship on Black Americans and other people of color continue to permeate the social fabric of this nation.
CRT is an acknowledgement that racismis a normal feature of society and is embedded within systems and institutions.
CRT recognizes that racism is codified in law, embedded in structures, and woven into public policy.
CRT can be an approach used to theorize, examine, and challenge the ways which race and racism implicitly and explicitly impact social structures, practices, and discourses. (I used bold for emphasis)
CRT is an academic movement of civil-rights scholars and activists in the United States who seek to critically examine the law as it intersects with issues of race and to challenge mainstream liberal approaches to racial justice.
It is rooted in the desire to understand how a regime of white supremacy and its subordination of people of color have been created and maintained in America.
Critics often call the theory Marxist.
In plain terms, critical race theory holds that racism is part of a broader pattern in America: It is woven into laws, and it shows up in who gets a job interview, the sort of home loans people are offered, how they are treated by police, and other facets of daily life large and small.
I don’t have too much to says other than what I have already said. Overall, I would definitely say that CRT is a Marxist theory and a movement, and we should try to stop it. Some like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is doing just that and I applaud him. He said, “Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money.” Missouri, Idaho, and Tennessee have introduced bills aimed at barring CRT in the classroom. Good move! Also, former President Trump has tried to stop it. We need him back.
So many things, movements are leaning toward Marxism these days. BLM, for instance, is closely tied to CRT. They are on the front lines of it. But you need to know that Satan is the one behind it all.
The Real Answer to Racism
Let me say, in conclusion, that if you really want to combat racism in this country and in the world, you don’t need a CRT. You need to read and study the bible for the answers. If you choose to do that you will find that the bible says nothing about the different races or about different skin colors. Evidently, God cares nothing about skin color. But He does care that people learn to get along with each other and to love each other. I found two words in the bible that will address racism: favoritism and partiality (or in the KJV it is “respect of persons”). Hence, we are not to show favoritism to people. We are to love and respect all people. Here are two verses to look at.
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
Now let me say as a final conclusion that, according to the bible, the key to not being racist is not to somehow change your behavior, because we can’t do it on our own. We need a heart change—a new heart. And Jesus can do that for us. If we give our lives to Him, He will give you a new heart, and all things will be made new. 2 Corinthians says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” That means that all racist tendencies will be gone! He will give you a new desire to love all people—whatever color.
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., has been suspended from uploading videos to YouTube for seven days and had a video of a speech talking about early treatments to COVID-19 removed by the video-sharing giant.
The video removal and upload ban came after two videos of Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearings he led on early experimental treatments to the novel coronavirus, such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
Johnson told Fox News that “YouTube’s ongoing COVID censorship proves they have accumulated too much unaccountable power.”
“Big Tech and mainstream media believe they are smarter than medical doctors who have devoted their lives to science and use their skills to save lives,” Johnson said. “They have decided there is only one medical viewpoint allowed, and it is the viewpoint dictated by government agencies. How many lives will be lost as a result? How many lives could have been saved with a free exchange of medical ideas?”
“Government-sanctioned censorship of ideas and speech should concern us all,” Johnson added.
