Proud People Will not Be Allowed In Heaven

I can’t believe that the media are pushing the Pride events so hard. And they seem so happy about it—that we are giving all the queer people a happy place to go, and be who they are. They announced that this whole month (in Minnesota I guess) is dedicated to Pride people (homosexuals) and that there are over 600 places for them to go. (But in the end they won’t be allowed in Heaven). I wish the church would say something—because the entire movement of pride is evil! And we ought to give them the message of truth—that God hates what they are doing, and He sees it as wicked and a rebellion against Him. (Have you noticed lately how the Pride rainbow colors are displayed everywhere?)

In the ancient world God destroyed all people except Noah because of their wickedness. Then again in Abraham’s day He destroyed two entire cities, all but Lot and his children for their wickedness. They were Pride people too!  God was grieved because of them (Gen 18:20). And I hope we as Christians are grieved too.

This sin it seems is not going away. It is multiplying! (their colors are everywhere.) Just as the whole world was infected in Genesis 6, and just as two entire cities were infected, don’t you know that the same thing is happening now. Soon Jesus will come and remove all His people (the Rapture) and He will bring seven years of His wrath on the world. Then one-thousand years later, even when Satan and the demons are locked up, the world again (at least much of the world) will be rebellious against God. This time the entire world and all this universe will be destroyed by fire. Read it in 2 Peter 3:10-12. It is also mentioned in Revelation 20:11, “The earth and heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.” It sounds like God just makes the earth and the heavens disappear. In 2 Peter it reads more like a great explosion by great heat where the elements (the atoms) melt away. Finally, all evil will be gone! And God will make all things new— “A new heaven and a new earth” (Rev. 21:1). I don’t see any idea of a renovation—as most people teach.

This is the message that we ought to be preaching to the world. That all their rebellious pride will not last. It will soon be gone—destroyed. And if they want to see and be a part of the beautiful new earth they must leave behind their sin and rebellion against God, because nothing of the way they are, nothing impure will be allowed to enter heaven (Rev. 21:8, 27).

A Reprobate Mind

Lately I have been wondering what is going on in some people’s minds—because of the things they do to themselves or the way they act (improperly). I think we may have a clue as to what brings on this kind of a mind by where it is talked about. Paul uses this word in Romans 1:28 and again in 2 Timothy 3:8. In both places he is addressing sin, out of control sin. And in Romans he addresses, in particular, homosexuality.

The Greek word, which is sometimes translated “depraved,” means “not passing the test.” It describes a mind that is useless or worthless and something that is discarded, like worthless metal. According to Wycliffe, it refers to a mind that is unapproved by God. It is a mind that will produce only that which is improper (things that are listed in Romans 1:29-31).

In the Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary, it is suggested that when men thought fit to cast out the knowledge of God in their mind, God gave them over to an outcast or worthless mind. John MacArthur suggests, similarly, that when men abandon God, He will abandon them.

I think that this situation will occur mostly in people who have corrupted themselves with sexual sin, because it is sexual sin that destroys a person at the deepest level like no other sin. It takes control of the whole person. As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 6:18, this sin goes against our own body. Satan loves to attack people and nations with sexual sin, and homosexual sin, because it will destroy from within.

As far as God giving up on people or giving them over to a reprobate mind, it may seem cruel and unloving to God; however, we have to remember that God will not force anyone to obey Him. He gives us all free will. He has warned us of sin and its corrupting nature. And He wants us to come to Him and trust Him; but He will not force us.

Again, a warning has come to us of the corrupting nature of sin, and especially sexual sin. And though God uses the word reprobate only in the context of out-of-control sin (like in Romans one), I think in the end all those who do not choose salvation by the Savior, will they not all be reprobates? For God will indeed say to them “I never knew you.” And He will say to them, “You rejected Me so I have rejected you.”

Moving Toward A Different America: More Transgenderism, Less Christianity

I was listening to a conversation between Newt Gingrich and Tucker Carlson today, and the question came up as to why Biden and the Democrats want to hurt America, because everything the Dems want will hurt this country in measurable ways. For instance, why are they letting in illegals without any health checks? Many of them would or have tested positive for covid-19; we know that. Newt Gingrich said that they want a different America, that they despise America the way it is. They want an America with more transgenderism and with less Christianity. They want a socialist America, not a capitalistic America.

It sounds to me that they want to spend lots of money on whatever they want, like more marijuana, etc. And it sure seems like America (and the World) is sinking into what it once was before the flood, when “every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen. 6:5). And with all the emphasis on the welcoming in of transgenders and the LGBTQ’s, America is becoming more like Sodom and Gomorrah, and like what we see in Romans 1, where God gives man over to his degrading passion or homosexuality, and how his mind becomes depraved. Yes, I see that before long, if America does not repent of its sins, we will collapse just as Rome did.

I also see from Bible prophecy, that the world will merge into globalism. That means that every country must give up its individualism. We are hearing now from the voices of the Great Reset and from Big Tech. Yes, they are now working toward a one world government and also toward a single religion for all. Then soon the Antichrist will come into view and all the tribulation that follows.

So, if this globalism is coming soon for the world, then we know why America is giving up its autonomy and its Christianity and its freedoms (I am speaking in the sense of following Bible prophecy).

However, lets pray that many will choose to repent of sins and follow Christ. The time is short and we wait expectantly for His coming.

God Will Rescue the Godly and Punish the Wicked – 2 Peter 2:1-9

This passage (2 Peter 2:1-9, at the end) has brought me great comfort in these evil times, knowing that God will rescue and comfort me, but that He will not allow the wicked to go unpunished!

For the last few years, since I have been more tuned in to political things, and paying more attention to what is happening in the world, and particularly in America, I have been grieved and distressed by all the evil going on. It seems like the entire democrat party was, and is, out to get the President with a variety of unjust practices, including an unjust impeachment. Such hatred and lawlessness and lying—particularly by Adam Shift, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Jerry Nadler. And such underhandedness and corruption and evil scheming by the former president Barack Obama, and also by the Clintons. Then we have seen the continual attacks by Antifa and BLM and all that they stand for: their supporting of homosexuality and queers and transgender folks, and their attacks against the traditional family and against the police.

And now, in just the last few days we have seen an election falsified, and the entire democrat party and all the media will not admit to it. And this for me is the most egregious, because if it isn’t corrected, we could see America fall in no time at all. With what we see now in the Democrat party, how evil it has become, in no time at all we will lose our constitution to liberalism; and lawlessness and homosexuality will be what is normal. Hence, all that was good about America will be gone. Rioting, lawlessness and lasciviousness will take its place. It will be just like the ancient world before the flood and like Sodom and Gomorrah.

But after reading 2 Peter 2:1-9, I feel so much better. This passage gives me perspective and assures me with comfort that He will save me out of it all, and will keep all the unrighteous ones like prisoners, awaiting their final eternal prison. Yes, this passage reminds us of how God did not spare the fallen angels, or the evil ancient world, but destroyed all of them, except Noah and his family in the great flood. And then later He destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. Thus, He made an example of what will happen to ungodly people.

My contentment and comfort now is realizing that just as God rescued Lot out of Sodom, and how at the same time He rightly judged the evil ones, He will surely do the same for America. He will comfort the righteous and will bring His righteous judgment on all who are evil—on all those that I have been grieved over. Yes, none of those who plotted evil will get away with it. Their punishment awaits them!!

Here is the passage I have been talking about:

2 Peter 2:1-9

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly thereafter; 7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men 8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds), 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.

Help for The Sexually Abused

When I was about 14 years old I was sexually abused.  I won’t go into it, but it happened 3 or 4 times and it has had a very disturbing and harmful effect on my life. I know that many have been abused (and raped) much more than me, and my devastation is small compared to theirs. I can imagine the pain and bitterness and anger they feel, and how they have cried out to God and found no help. I know that there are many young girls and boys who have gone through much—much more than me. And we should pray for a them that God will hear their cries.

The Outcry to the Lord against Sodom and Gomorrah

When Abraham was called by the Lord to go into the land of Israel, he brought with him Sarah his wife and his nephew Lot. And, as it happened, Lot settled in the beautiful valley of the Jordan near the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. And the men there were wicked and sinned greatly against the Lord (Gen. 13:13). Well, the bible tells us that the outcry to the Lord against Sodom and Gomorrah was so great that He decided to destroy the cities (and the people) by fire (Gen. 18:20; 19:13).

I’m not sure if we know for sure who was crying out to the Lord. At first I assumed it was all the people in the cities who were being sexually abused. Then I thought that since the wicked abusers also suffer a penalty for their perversion (Rom. 1:27), they may also be crying out. I also have considered that it could be angels who have witnesses the evil doings and have cried out. I’m not sure if we can know for certain; but certainly, it would come from the innocent young people.

Nonetheless, if you read the account of the evil there (from Gen. 18:20-19:29), it will make you sick to read just how lustful and perverted the men of Sodom were—both young and old, and how they came at Lot and his two guests (angels who looked like men) in order to have sex with them.  Those cities were undeniably wicked; and by the description, the people had given themselves over to unnatural lusts and homosexual perversion. Thus, God had no option but to destroy them all, except Lot and his two daughters; they were spared.

God Will Hear Our Cries and Bring Justice

Let the people cry out, and God will hear them. It may take a while, but He will hear us and He will bring justice and vengeance to our enemies. In the book of Revelation (Rev. 6:10-11), during the Tribulation, many will be martyred for their faith, and from heaven they will cry out to God to avenge their blood. It says.

And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, wilt Thou refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, should be completed also.

In this passage we see that justice is so important. That God will not let the guilty go unpunished. He will hear the cries of those who have been sinned against, and He will judge the guilty.

God’s Commandment to Us Regarding Homosexuality

We have already seen (in Genesis) how God treated the people who were inflicted with that sin. It became so bad that He had to destroy them all. Eventually God rose up a people who would follow Him and be His own. Through them he would show the world His will. It was through His servant Moses that He gave this commandment to all men: Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

The Progression of Sin Leading to And Beyond Homosexuality

In Romans 1:18-32, Paul shows us the progression of sin, and through it all how His wrath is revealed against the sinner. Note how the sin of unnatural affection, or homosexuality, comes about through man’s own choices. Here is the passage followed by the 7-point progression.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

  1. They suppressed the truth by their wickedness. The truth about God was plain to them, but they chose not to believe it.
  2. Their foolish heart was darkened. They became blind to the truth.
  3. They became idol worshippers. They chose to worship other things instead of God.
  4. God gave them up to their sinful desires. They chose sexual impurity with one another.
  5. God gave them over to shameful and unnatural lusts and unnatural relations. Men had sexual relations with men and women with women.
  6. They received the due penalty in themselves for their perversion. We are not told what this is, but we may assume it is guilt, sorrow and disease.
  7. God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they would do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, etc. (from vv. 29-32).
