Evaluating Critical Race Theory – What is the Real Answer to Racism?

There seems to be two sides to Critical Race Theory. In one respect CRT is merely a broad study of race and racism. It is a changing package of ideas. It is a bunch of so-called race scholars trying to make sense out of our country as it is—a racist country; they are trying to understand how we got where we are. But another side of CRT is more dominant. These race scholars I think have a strategy: to infiltrate society and our schools with their ideas. But I’m not sure what their ultimate goal is. They may say it is to make society better; but at what cost? I fear it is at the cost of Socialism and even Communism.

In my reading on this topic I ran across this interesting article that was very revealing to me: A Lesson on Critical Race Theory. Here are a few quotes from the article on what CRT is.

  • A practice of interrogating the role of race and racism in society.
  • It critiques how the social construction of race and institutionalized racism perpetuate a racial caste system that relegates people of color to the bottom tiers.
  • CRT recognizes that race intersects with other identities, including sexuality, gender identity, and others.
  • CRT recognizes that racism is not a bygone relic of the past. Instead, it acknowledges that the legacy of slavery, segregation, and the imposition of second-class citizenship on Black Americans and other people of color continue to permeate the social fabric of this nation.
  • CRT is an acknowledgement that racism is a normal feature of society and is embedded within systems and institutions.
  • CRT recognizes that racism is codified in law, embedded in structures, and woven into public policy.
  • CRT can be an approach used to theorize, examine, and challenge the ways which race and racism implicitly and explicitly impact social structures, practices, and discourses. (I used bold for emphasis)

Wikipedia, under Critical race theory (CRT) also had some interesting information. Here are some quotes:

Here is one more article entitled, What is critical race theory, and why are conservatives blocking it?

According to this article CRT is…

  • A changing package of ideas.
  • It is rooted in the desire to understand how a regime of white supremacy and its subordination of people of color have been created and maintained in America.
  • Critics often call the theory Marxist.
  • In plain terms, critical race theory holds that racism is part of a broader pattern in America: It is woven into laws, and it shows up in who gets a job interview, the sort of home loans people are offered, how they are treated by police, and other facets of daily life large and small.

I don’t have too much to says other than what I have already said. Overall, I would definitely say that CRT is a Marxist theory and a movement, and we should try to stop it. Some like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is doing just that and I applaud him. He said, “Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money.” Missouri, Idaho, and Tennessee have introduced bills aimed at barring CRT in the classroom. Good move! Also, former President Trump has tried to stop it. We need him back.

So many things, movements are leaning toward Marxism these days. BLM, for instance, is closely tied to CRT. They are on the front lines of it. But you need to know that Satan is the one behind it all.

The Real Answer to Racism

Let me say, in conclusion, that if you really want to combat racism in this country and in the world, you don’t need a CRT. You need to read and study the bible for the answers. If you choose to do that you will find that the bible says nothing about the different races or about different skin colors. Evidently, God cares nothing about skin color. But He does care that people learn to get along with each other and to love each other. I found two words in the bible that will address racism: favoritism and partiality (or in the KJV it is “respect of persons”). Hence, we are not to show favoritism to people. We are to love and respect all people. Here are two verses to look at.

Acts 10:34-35

Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.

James 2:1-11

My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

Now let me say as a final conclusion that, according to the bible, the key to not being racist is not to somehow change your behavior, because we can’t do it on our own. We need a heart change—a new heart. And Jesus can do that for us. If we give our lives to Him, He will give you a new heart, and all things will be made new. 2 Corinthians says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” That means that all racist tendencies will be gone! He will give you a new desire to love all people—whatever color.

As the World Fans the Flame of Racism

The thing that is most on my mind these days is how certain groups and people are fanning the flames of racism—mostly against the police. Black Lives Matter is the worst, but very influential leaders are also doing it, like the governor of Minnesota (my state), and the mayor of Minneapolis. Some of the things that are said are downright stupid and very damaging to the police—an institution that we ought to be respecting; for God has established it, and when we resist that authority, we are resisting God Himself (Romans 13:2). When our leaders talk against the police, they are spreading a message of disrespect against them and ultimately against God. It is no wonder that black people are rising up in rebellion against them.

I just heard that our governor has suggested that traffic cops maybe will not carry a gun. Because of one mistake made by a police woman, we are going to put in danger the entire Minneapolis police force. How stupid!

You know, if people would start respecting the police and do what they are told to do—like get out of their automobile…put their hands on the dashboard…etc.—we wouldn’t have the problems we are having. I think the police needs to crackdown more on people who don’t obey them. They are being too lenient. They ought to be giving out stiff fines for disrespectful language and certainly for not obeying their orders. The bible says,

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities…whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God (Romans 13:1-2).

But what can we do about governors who are telling the police to “backdown” and do nothing when there is a riot? All we can do is vote against them, but also pray. We have not yet come to the terrible times as it was in the early church when the Christians were under so much persecution by Nero and others. But it will be coming—if things keep going the way it has been. Those Roman dictators were all possessed by demons and were homosexuals. Yes, they were! They were given anything they desired to please themselves: young boys and girls were molested; and it was recorded that Nero used live Christians as torches to light his courtyard. These sins are returning to us—because of our latest policies in favor of homosexuals of all types—LGBTQIA, etc.

However, in all of the terrible trials we face and hear about, we can stand strong and rejoice in the Lord. He will always be with you and build you up. And know also that He is coming soon to receive you to Himself (read 1 Thess. 4:16-18).

Capitol Hill Violence and More

A lot has been said in the media about Trump and his followers, especially regarding the last few days. Unfortunately, most or all that has been said is false. So, I want to give my thoughts to try to correct some thinking. I know I am not an expert on everything, but I think I know when falsehoods have been made. I will give my thoughts on four things:

Who is lying about voter fraud?

When Trump said that his election was stolen, was he lying? The media said he was lying. When Trump said that there were multiple cases of voter fraud, was he lying? The media said he was lying. And many others said he was lying. Even Bill Barr said there was no evidence of wide spread voter fraud. And McConnell also seems to be saying it.

Who is lying? Was there voter fraud or not? And was the election stolen? Yes! And Yes! The media is lying! And many others are lying. There are mounds and mounds of evidence to prove voter fraud and to prove that Donald Trump did win the election, but at the very end it was stolen. And just because the courts refuse to hear the evidence doesn’t mean that the evidence isn’t there.

We all know who is lying; and you, whoever you are, will be held accountable for your lies—at the judgment.

Did Donald Trump incite his followers to violence?

Well, that’s a good question? He certainly made his thoughts known; and they were true and true to him. But I don’t think President Trump intentionally intended to stir his followers up to do violence to the police or to the Capitol. I don’t think he really thought everything through. He just wanted justice to be done and wanted to convey it to others. I think he was very hopeful that his vice president would reject the fraudulent electoral votes, and maybe he thought his rally would convince him to do it. Certainly, the President made some wrong decisions, but that doesn’t mean he is totally to blame for the violence—maybe partially to blame. Those who did violence certainly should be held accountable for what they did.

Black Lives Matter followers vs Trump Followers

I have heard many of the media, and also Biden, say that the police treated the Trump intruders much better than the BLM rioters. Yes, I would say that is true. And the reason is because the BLM rioters were much more unruly and rude. They were yelling and cursing at the police. The Trump crowd was not. The BLM people were burning down buildings, overturning police cars, and throwing bombs; and the Trump people were relatively peaceful. The only time they were violent was when they were breaking into the Capitol. Also, the BLM rioters (those who were true believers in BLM) are Marxists and they hate America. But the Trump people love America and they were fighting for America. So, there is a big difference in the two groups and so they should have been treated differently.

Trump’s Legacy

There is no question that what happened at the Capitol Hill will hurt the Trump legacy. But, knowing Donald Trump, he will find a way to get through it and survive. I think President Trump has been treated very badly and unfairly during his entire presidency. In spite of it all, he has accomplished many good things for America. It is just too bad that much of it will be reversed during the Biden term, and because of the China Virus.

God Will Rescue the Godly and Punish the Wicked – 2 Peter 2:1-9

This passage (2 Peter 2:1-9, at the end) has brought me great comfort in these evil times, knowing that God will rescue and comfort me, but that He will not allow the wicked to go unpunished!

For the last few years, since I have been more tuned in to political things, and paying more attention to what is happening in the world, and particularly in America, I have been grieved and distressed by all the evil going on. It seems like the entire democrat party was, and is, out to get the President with a variety of unjust practices, including an unjust impeachment. Such hatred and lawlessness and lying—particularly by Adam Shift, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Jerry Nadler. And such underhandedness and corruption and evil scheming by the former president Barack Obama, and also by the Clintons. Then we have seen the continual attacks by Antifa and BLM and all that they stand for: their supporting of homosexuality and queers and transgender folks, and their attacks against the traditional family and against the police.

And now, in just the last few days we have seen an election falsified, and the entire democrat party and all the media will not admit to it. And this for me is the most egregious, because if it isn’t corrected, we could see America fall in no time at all. With what we see now in the Democrat party, how evil it has become, in no time at all we will lose our constitution to liberalism; and lawlessness and homosexuality will be what is normal. Hence, all that was good about America will be gone. Rioting, lawlessness and lasciviousness will take its place. It will be just like the ancient world before the flood and like Sodom and Gomorrah.

But after reading 2 Peter 2:1-9, I feel so much better. This passage gives me perspective and assures me with comfort that He will save me out of it all, and will keep all the unrighteous ones like prisoners, awaiting their final eternal prison. Yes, this passage reminds us of how God did not spare the fallen angels, or the evil ancient world, but destroyed all of them, except Noah and his family in the great flood. And then later He destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. Thus, He made an example of what will happen to ungodly people.

My contentment and comfort now is realizing that just as God rescued Lot out of Sodom, and how at the same time He rightly judged the evil ones, He will surely do the same for America. He will comfort the righteous and will bring His righteous judgment on all who are evil—on all those that I have been grieved over. Yes, none of those who plotted evil will get away with it. Their punishment awaits them!!

Here is the passage I have been talking about:

2 Peter 2:1-9

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly thereafter; 7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men 8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds), 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.

Breaking News Tidbits from Don Stewart

I just recently got to know Don Stewart. He has written quite a few books, mainly on bible prophecy and current events. I have been listening to his daily Breaking News podcast. It’s quite informative and I thought I would pass a few of his News tidbits on to you. Most of it is not word for word, but is accurate.

Minneapolis crime wave. Minneapolis city council is alarmed by a surg in crime (assaults, robbery, and homicides) months after voting to defund the police. This is news that is close to me. Though I don’t live in the city, I’m not far from the city limits.

Coronavirus made in a lab. A Dr Li-Meng Yan, a Chinese virologist, said that Covid-19 was made in a lab in Wuhan, China; and she has evidence to show it. Recently she has been black listed from Twitter. Apparently, many, especially Chinese people, are quite upset with her for spilling the beans.

AG Barr has made a controversial comment. William Barr said recently that the Nation-wide stay-at-home-orders to prevent the spread of Coronavirus have been the greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history other than slavery.Don Stewart made a point especially about many churches not being able to meet. John MacArthur has been in the news a lot lately and has been threatened with fines and even jail time. MacArthur jokingly shrugged it off saying that he always wanted to be involved in a prison ministry. Personally, I think John MacArthur is a bold warrior for the Lord, and I usually always trust what he says in his messages.

Oregon protests and riots have backfired. According to recent polls, two-thirds of Oregon voters disapprove of BLM and protests; and Trump has a higher rating in Oregon than their own governor and mayors. It would be so good for Oregon to get some new, republican leaders installed.

Boogaloo: Terrorism in Minnesota

If you have been hearing that the George Floyd protest is more that just local concerned people, here is proof. I read today in my morning newspaper, the Pioneer Press, how Federal authorities in Minnesota caught up with two young men, Michael Solomon from New Brighton, MN, and Benjamin Teeter from North Carolina, who are part of a radical anti-government terrorist group called Boogaloo, and were operating within the George Floyd protest group, or, you might say that they were piggy backing off of the group.

Generally speaking, this group is a loosely organized anti-government movement with the goal of starting a second American Civil war. And their method is to invade protest groups—wherever they find them—and then stir up the group to riot.

According to Wikipedia, their beliefs are not all the same. Some of them absolutely condemn racism, but others within the same group are white supremacists and Neo-Nazis. So, it seems that somehow, they have managed to unify under the banner of violence against American authority—though many ironically carry the American flag. I guess they have a different idea of what America should be.

Of course, Boogaloo is just one example of similar anti-American government groups. There are many others, maybe hundreds (with Black Lives Matter and Antifa being the most well-known), who likewise use peaceful protest groups as their base of operations; and then they will use various means to stir up protest members to riot: by vulgar speeches, throwing rocks and bricks, fire bombs and even by shooting guns.

Okay, back to the newspaper article. Apparently, these two young men (thugs) who are in this crazy Boogaloo group were interacting with an individual during the aftermath of the George Floyd incident concerning what their goals were, etc., and this individual later reported them to the FBI. Then about a month later an FBI person (or persons) posing as members of Hamas managed to get much more information from them. (I imagine that they were boasting about all they were planning to do and were not too cautious about who they were talking to.)

Here is what the FBI found regarding these two young men:

  • They espouse a violent ideology and plan to overthrow the US government.
  • They have views aligned with those of Hamas and they expressed an interest in being mercenaries for Hamas.
  • In addition to carrying firearms, they possess large quantities of ammunition.
  • They talked about committing acts of violence against police.
  • They have a desire to destroy government buildings and monuments. They said they were thinking of blowing up a courthouse in Minnesota, and also thinking of killing certain politicians.
  • They expressed an interest in making automatic weapons for the group.
  • They have a desire to attack Israel and also US soldiers.

Slavery: How does God View Slavery?

When I read in the bible about how God deals with slavery and polygamy, and other sins, I have to stop and think. I sometimes wonder why He hasn’t spent more time condemning those things. It almost seems like He has just gone along with it—tolerated it. From the beginning of time it seems that slavery has occurred, and all through the Old Testament most men have had more than one wife. And divorce was also rampant. It wasn’t until Jesus came along in the New Testament that polygamy and divorce were dealt with. But even in the New Testament slavery was still an issue—still something that seemed to be excepted as normal (Eph. 6:5-9; Philemon).

Well, I don’t know what to say, except that from the beginning God gave man free will—the freedom to do as he wished. And God rarely intervened, except in the flood, and also when He directed Israel to wipe out the evil nations (by Joshua’s leadership).

But it is interesting how God has worked within the evil world system to bring testing on His people in order to discipline us. And we are commanded to live in this world without complaining so that we may appear as shinning light in the world (Phil. 2:14-15), and be a pleasure to God.

In regard to slavery, it has seemed that God hasn’t said much about it, except how masters ought to treat slaves and how slaves ought to please their masters (Eph. 6:5-9). So, even after Christ, slavery seemed to be excepted, but something that should be regulated or made acceptable —more like a boss and an employee.

But that certainly wasn’t how it has been—all the way into the 60’s in our country (USA). And it has taken a long time to change it. Even now there is still so much tension between whites and blacks. And what’s going on now with this Black Lives Matter movement is not helping. It seems to be just stirring up more bitterness.

I sometimes wonder why God didn’t put a stop to slavery from the start. Surely, He saw what would happen and the racism. But, like I said, that’s not how God chose to work. He gave us free will; and He also gave us the ability to ask for His help. We should do that. We should be constantly praying and asking Him to help us with our tendency toward racism. Instead of all the riots and the terrible BLM speeches (with awful language), made to stir people up to do horrible things, Christians should meet together to pray, and then be obedient in however He directs.

BLM: Marxist, Misguided, Liars

Not only is the organization BLM and its founders Marxists and Communists, there is something seriously wrong with their thinking. They are liars and delusional. The group BLM does not really care about black people’s lives; they are only using a few cases of police shootings to stir up their power base and build up their socialist agenda.

In BLM website they write: “

BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer.

However, there was no murder. It was found that the shooting was in self-defense. And you may note that in all of their writings they will always reject the law’s conclusions and insist on their own opinions without evidence.

In BLM website they write that their…

Mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.

But there is no white supremacy in this country—except for a few pockets of it here and there. I personally don’t see it anywhere.

In BLM website they say they…

Are working for a world where Black lives are no longer systematically and intentionally targeted for demise.

That’s just a lie. Where do they get that? What world are they living in? There is something seriously wrong with their thinking, and by making those radical, lying statement they are not only deluding themselves but they are feeding misinformation to black people everywhere. In fact, by their lies they are making matters much worse for black people; they are bringing more fear into their lives, and it is not helpful to them at all. Most white people, including policemen, love black people, and all black people need to know that.

Most importantly, black people, and all people, need to know that God loves us; and if we know that, and come to experience His love, we will see all fear vanish from our lives.

Founders of BLM Want the Traditional Family Banished — Bill O’Reilly

In Bill O’Reilly’s Update Morning Edition, June 24, 2020, he gives us some valuable info about the founders of Black Lives Matter. The founders are three women:  39 yr old Alicia Garza, 36 yr old Patrisse Cullors, and 36 yr old Opal Tometi. They all are Marxists and they admit it and don’t hide it. Yet they want no publicity. What they want is to use racial unrest in the USA to gain power.

Now, as you may know, in Marxism the Federal government controls everything. There is no private property. The government even controls the family. On the Black Lives Matter website you will find this stated credence:

We disrupt the Western prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and villages that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mother’s, parents, and children are comfortable.

In other word, says O’Reilly, “They want the traditional family banished.”

Now I ask you, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SUPPORT THIS ORGANIZATION – BLACK LIVES MATTER? It’s not a good group. No matter how good it sounds. They are very radical. They want to destroy the American family and America itself. You see so far what they are doing—all the rioting. They really care nothing for black lives. If they did, they would be more concerned for all the African Americans being killed in Chicago. But they say nothing and do nothing about that. It seems like all they are concerned about now is to defund the police and abolish them. Then you will see even more black lives being killed.
