We will turn our attention toward the beast from the sea, also called the Antichrist. He may be examined quite extensively from three chapters in Daniel, from 2 Thessalonians, and from six chapters in Revelation. Here we will look primarily from just Revelation thirteen. We will start with the first six verses.

In the back of my mind, I’m always wondering how safe my savings is and when this new digital currency is coming. Being a Christian, I’m not too concerned, but it always pays to be somewhat cautious.

To start with, let me clarify something about the title of this section. I am not meaning here that the events from Revelation 12:1 to 15:4 will all occur exactly in the middle of the Tribulation, or that they will even occur between the trumpets and the bowls. I only mean that they are found written about in the book of Revelation between the trumpets and the bowls. Actually, it is a parenthetical passage meant to convey details of key events during all of the Tribulation and especially during the last three and a half years of it. But it is more than a record of key events. The passage is meant to give us background information or a setting for the Tribulation and for the main characters: for Satan, Israel, Christ, the two beasts, the 144,000 witnesses, and certain angels.

After the terrible events of the sixth Trumpet (which is the second woe), including the things that John heard and saw from the might angel and of the two witnesses, the seventh angel sounded his trumpet. This seventh trumpet (which is the third woe) introduces, opens the door to, and includes all the rest of the judgments, including the seven bowls and the following events leading to the establishing of the millennial kingdom.

Revelation 11:1-2.Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, “Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it. 2 “Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.
After John eats the little book and is told to keep warning the people about the coming judgments, he is next given a measuring rod and is told to measure the temple, the altar and the worshippers. We are not told why he is to do this, but we could make some conjectures.
Looking at it in a spiritual way, I think we can see the measuring as how God is evaluating the spiritual conditions of the temple and its people. Tim…

Just after John saw and recorded that a third of mankind was killed by the locust creatures and that those who survived do not repent, he suddenly saw a mighty angel coming down from heaven. It seems that, with this new abortion ruling, we are seeing new extremes for good and for bad. The abortionists are venting their anger and the pro-lifers are venting their joy. I just hope we pro-lifers will not feel sorry for the sad abortionists. They have been guilty of sin too long. Their time has come. Let them meet God.
Similarly, let all Christians see sin and evil for what it is. If there are evil spirits and demons, let them be called out in Jesus’ name. If there is ongoing sin, let it be quickly rejected. It is time now to stand strong for Jesus.
There will soon be coming on the earth the ultimate stand-off between good and evil. It will happen after the Rapture—so we might see it from heaven. It will be the battle between the two witnesses who will preach the truth, and the Antichrist who is full of lies and deceit. This battle will go on for three and a half years until God’s restraints are lifted off of the Antichrist, and he will kill the witnesses. Then we will see how evil the world is. They will rejoice over their death. And will let them lie dead for three and a half days. Then when God raises them to life and takes them to heaven, we will see the good and godly ones rejoice. So, make no mistake, there is now good and evil, and we all live and work together. We very often smile at each other and try to be at peace. But at other times, we see the differences and we clash. Sometimes it is hard to see who people are. But Jesus has said, one lives for God, the other for the devil. I think it is best that the truth be known. It is never good to live in deception. Let the truth set you free.
Now let me be clear, those who speak against the six Supreme Court justices that ruled against abortion and against all pro-life people, those are on the side of evil! Their father is the devil! Jesus said in Luke 17:1-2,
It is inevitable that stumbling blocks should come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Hence, let the battle continue, good against evil, until finally God overcomes all evil and Jesus reigns over all.
