ICE operations in this country is war with the Devil. Everything they do—whether they know it or not—is to reduce evil in this country and to make room for God’s peace and goodness.
So why are so many people unhappy with them and protesting them? Here are a few points.
1. They don’t fully realize what ICE is doing—their mission: to rid the country of evil.
2. They are unhappy with ICE because they are disrupting their carefree lifestyle. Many don’t care about what others are doing, even if it is criminal. They just want peace for themselves, even if it involves sins. And they don’t want anyone around spying on their so-called freedom.
3. They don’t want to have any part in or be influenced in any way in what ICE is trying to do—to clean up the country.
4. Many are choosing neutrality over war. They may be thinking that no evil influence will come their way. At the beginning of WWII Norway went that way. They knew that Hitler was coming, but they thought they were safe. They were wrong. Hitler’s war machine came right in at night and easily overran them. If they had built up their defenses and strengthened their military, WWII would have been over much earlier—and would have saved a lot of bloodshed. Peace through strength is always a superior strategy when dealing with evil forces. Trump, with his ICE troops, are doing so much good by destroying evil, even if people are being disrupted from their easy lifestyle. We need to support them and pray for them. It’s not an easy job, but it’s got to be done for the good of the country.
For a long time, I have been commenting on the New Testament book of 1st and 2nd Peter. But today I have an urge to talk a bit about what’s been happening in my state of Minnesota. Many would say it’s a mess, or a tragedy. I don’t know what everybody’s saying, but I do watch the news. Our governor and our mayor wants ICE out! And all the TV media seems to be slanted that way too. But when I go to church, what they say is just the opposite. And our President and his people think ICE is doing a good job—rounding up so many bad guys in this country, even in Minnesota.
Okay, what caused me to write this blog was what I heard about Paul Allen, a Minnesota sports commentator. He just recently, jokingly said on his regular KAFAN radio show, something like, “I wonder if the ICE protesters are getting paid more for going out in this cold weather.” I don’t have a copy of that newspaper, but I remember that everyone in that radio station was shocked by his comment. They couldn’t believe that he actually thought some of the ICE protestors were paid. Or maybe they were shocked that he was revealing what he thought—because after all, a left-wing radio station would never reveal those secrets. Well, what really hurt me was what Paul Allen did next. He cried like a baby and profusely apologized for what He said. Why? I thought. If he really believed what He said, why apologize? After all, I think most people know that many of the protestors are paid. People aren’t that stupid. Or maybe they are, or just blind. But of course, we all know that Paul needs to keep his job, so he did what most people would do. But it is sad.
Okay, let me say more about our Minneapolis media concerning ICE. They are either all left-wing Democrats, or they are simply told what to say, or both. I thought news people were suppose to just report the news. It sure seems that they are all against ICE and want them out! That they are doing more damage than good. They seem to ignore the clear statistics that since ICE came murders and crime are way down—all over the country.
I realize, and we should all realize that police work is hard and things go wrong. Fighting crime isn’t easy. It’s a war out there, and people will get hurt and killed. Maybe even some good people. But you don’t just quit and go home because some things go wrong. You keep at it. I think on the whole ICE is doing a good job—especially because of the difficult circumstances they are facing, having to contend with all the protestors, even paid ones! Professional protestors! And there was many of those that were working at the Jan. 6th Capitol riot. People should know that!
Okay, I guess I’m done venting on this subject. Stay tuned for more.
On January 2, in the middle of the night, American military forces captured Nicolas Maduro and his wife, and they will be brought to justice. This was a great success for the American military and for Venezuela in stopping this criminal.
But we also now see a clear indication of many Americans who are “Democratic Socialists” (Communists). We see it so clearly by their signs and marches calling for Maduro’s freedom. This is what America has come to—wanting criminals to go free, and wanting drugs in our country.
Please, let us rejoice now in seeing Venezuela free from this bad guy. Pray for the Venezuelan people to now have their country back and free.
We have heard over and over again that the shooting was because of “political differences.” But I would rather say that it was due to hatred against God and His truth. And I think that it was mainly from a strong bitterness that was built up against what Charlie Kirk was saying against Robinson’s moral beliefs and against his romantic relationship with his roommate who was transgender (who was transitioning from being a man to a woman).
I have a feeling that that relationship, and what Kirk said about it, took him to a very dark place by which he felt compelled to act against Kirk. I can imagine that Robinson was hurt deeply by what Kirk said, and possibly was moved with revenge and rage by demons.
We know from the bible that immorality, especially homosexuality and other perversions, will produce in the heart wickedness (Gen. 6:5), degrading passions and a depraved mind (Rom. 1:25-29). In the end, these who do these things are filled with all kinds of unrighteousness, including “murder” (Rom. 1:29).
I watched a very enlightening and shocking You Tube video the other day. It was a speech by Senator Kennedy on what has been found at USAID (Agency for International Development). This agency is giving your tax dollars to certain organizations around the world. Some people are very upset that Musk is allowed to look at this information. But I think the American taxpayer has a right to know where a good chunk of their taxes are going. Would you like to know? I would. Well, here are just a few places where money is going.
To Afghanistan
To Yemen
To Syria
To support electric vehicles in Viet Nam
To a transgender clinic in India
1.5 million to a Serbian LGTB group
164 million to support radical organizations around the word, 122 million to terrorist organizations.
Millions to organizations in Gaza, controlled by Hamas
2 Million for sex change operations in Guatemala
20 million to produce a new Sesame Street show in Iraq
4.5 million to combat misinformation in Kazakhstan
10 million of meals to an Alkaid terrorist group
7.9 million to a journalist in Shirl Anka to teach people to avoid binary gender language
1.5 million to rebuild Cuban media
1.5 million to promote LGTB in Jamaca
3.9 million for LGTB courses in Macedonia
8.3 million dollars for equity and inclusion classes in Napal
Senator Kenedy was quick to say that some of our money may be very well spent. But a lot isn’t. I think USAID should be changed to USAIC (US Agency for International Corruption). It is bad enough that we are using our tax dollars for things we don’t agree with, but it is doubly bad that America is in the process of corrupting many other nations. It is shocking!!
I give my praise to Elon Musk for digging out this stuff. I do hope and pray that much of USAID is dismantled. I am in full agreement with firing all of the 10,000 working there. We cannot let this kind of stuff continue.
In the wake of America’s new administration—a new President with new policies—many people are afraid. Some are afraid of being deported. Some are afraid of being jailed. Many are afraid of the new President’s extremism: on immigration, on his supposed anti-environment beliefs, and his anti-woke beliefs, on all his Bidden reversals, and on what he will do to our country, The outgoing President is so afraid, that he has preemptively pardoned his entire family and many of his loyal supporters, like Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, and Liz Cheney.
While I was asking myself how anyone can overcome fears, I came across a number of Scripture verses that will give us a clear answer.
Scriptures That Will Help Us Overcome Fear
In the following five verses we will find that the reason we fear is because we lack something; we lack a relationship with God—a relationship that will give us a lasting peace with God, a trust in Him, a saving faith, a loving Heavenly Father, and an enduring love from God. Let’s look at these verses.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
We need not be afraid of anything in this world if we have the peace that God gives us.
Psalm 56:11
In God I have put my trust;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?
If you put your trust in God you need not be afraid of anything.
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
If you will give your heart to Him to save you, you need not be afraid of anything. He will be your strength.
Romans 8:14-15
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
If you will give your life to Him, if you will trust Him to save you (if you will ask Him to forgive your sins and cleanse you and give you a new life), you will be His adopted child and will no longer have that spirit of fear in you. He will be your Father in which you can cry out to Him whenever you fear anything or have any needs.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear.
If you are saved and are one of His children, you will abide in His love and will have no fear.
All selections for the new administration need our prayers. Prayers at this time are especially needed for the team of director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, secretary of state, Marco Rubio, and secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth. They are going to be under constant attack from the left to be removed. But according to former speaker of the house, Newt Gingrich, this country really needs them.
“I’m watching President Trump create the most reform-oriented Cabinet in my lifetime,” Gingrich told “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 77 FM-N.Y. on Sunday morning.
The disruptor nominees are long needed to conduct “a complete overhaul” at the Pentagon, Gingrich told host John Catsimatidis, adding that the choices for director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, secretary of state, Marco Rubio, and Hegseth would make an “amazing team.”
But Trump’s Cabinet picks are going to face potentially historic obstruction, particularly in Hegseth, according to Gingrich.
“It’s going to take enormous courage and resilience on the part of Pete Hegseth to survive over there because the whole old order is going to try to destroy him,” Gingrich warned. “I’ve been actively involved in thinking about and working on defense for an extraordinarily long time: And I can tell you, the building needs a very complete overhaul.”
All of the three- and four-star generals should be sent out and given retirement papers, a source told Gingrich.
“I had one senior person in the military who retired, who was working with Trump, who said he would recommend the president have every three and four star general retire — and then go down to two stars to pick a whole new generation of leaders,” Gingrich said.
“He thinks between Obama and Biden, the whole system has just been undermined and corrupted.”
Trump is reportedly weighing an executive order to conduct external reviews of U.S. military generals — potentially having them interview to keep their jobs in the Pentagon that might lead to their dismissals after the deadly Afghanistan withdrawal and wars raging in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Gingrich also spoke about the overhaul of Congress, including new Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., and House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.
Gingrich said Thune is a “good guy” who “bridges everybody” and Johnson has the “hardest job in Washington today” with the slimmest of margins with a presumptive 220-213 majority with two races left to call.
“I think one of Trump’s commitments ought to be to try to turn the cities red so that they actually have jobs, have safety and have decent, honest government,” Gingrich concluded. “Now, that’s a pretty good project.”

It’s a very foggy day. God is being kind, giving the Dem’s a place to hide. It will take a while for them to face up to the MAGA victory. But soon, hopefully, they will see some great economic results. This next few years may be the last stretch of grace this country has before all hell breaks loose. We must pray that many will see His kindness and receive Him before it’s too late. May the kindness of God lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4).
Today I read the familiar story of Daniel in the lions’ den (Dan. 6:16-28). I was especially struck by the parallel I saw between this story and what is happening to Donald Trump. In Daniel’s story jealous, fellow administrators were unable to find anything against Daniel so they had to concoct something related to his beliefs. In Trump’s case too, it is very hard to find anything against him (because his records are so clean). So, they concocted some bogus case and now they intend to throw him into the lion’s den—or so many years in jail!
It is amazing that in every time and in every culture we find evil men who are intent on doing evil against good men. I guess it is the nature of evil to always want to drag a good man down to your level.
I pray that the end for Trump will be much like it was for Daniel—that God would send His angelto shut the mouths of the lions and that instead the evil men would be found out and judged.
