Most of the Minnesota wildflowers have faded away, but there are a few little ones still, and an abundance of yellow sunflowers.

I’m sure this is just a weed, but in the fall it looks quite beautiful with its white fuzz and shiny golden stems.



Here’s a Monarch sharing space with a Bumblebee.

This grey (or green) heron was spotted gazing in this little creek.


I haven’t seen too many Monarch butterflies this year, so I was delighted to see this one.
