Update: Mostly about Me

The biggest news is Trump winning big in the Iowa caucus. But it’s not surprising to me, even that people braved the cold. Hey, it’s Iowa; cold is normal there. Many are saying that he has already clinched the election and all others should drop out and support him.

My Reading

The last three books I’ve read are biographies—Heroes of the Faith: Tyndale, Eric Little, and just finishing Gladys Aylward. I had never heard of Gladys Aylward, but now I know she is definitely a hero. This small lady was so courageous in China. She did such good work at a time when China was at war by two forces: the Communists and Japan, during the 1930’s. The reading of these books have been so inspiring to me that I have decided to read all of them I have over again—about a dozen of them, from the 1500’s (with Luther and Tyndale) to the 1930’s.

My Writing

My writing is always a slow process—because I always do tons of research firs; and I only spend about a half hour a day on it. So, it’s a grind, but I still like it and it’s so beneficial to me. I would say that it is benefiting me far more than anyone else that would be reading.

Time Off From Work

I haven’t worked for over a month—at my painting. Even though I am retired I will still be picking up some jobs soon. People will call me as soon as it gets a little warmer—or I will call them. In the meantime I will do more reading and writing. And I go out to eat breakfast almost every day. I never did that before. Well, that’s retirement I guess.

Rudy Giuliani: Ordered to Pay $150 Million

On Dec. 15th Rudy Giuliani was ordered [by Judge Beryl Howell] to pay $150 million to former Georgia election workers Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman.

As Giuliani was leaving the courtroom, he said to reporters, “We will move for a new trial… The absurdity of the number underscores the absurdity of the entire proceeding… I was not allowed to offer one single piece of evidence in defense—of which I have a lot…when I get to go before a fair tribunal it will be reversed quickly.”

Giuliani said that he didn’t testify because the judge told him that if he made any mistakes she would call it contempt and would probably lock him up.

Election workers: Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman

We can’t be sure of what evidence Giuliani will present, but generally it will be of “sneaking in ballots in suitcases” and of “counting ballots multiple times.”

This case is very troubling to me, because as you heard, the judge did not allow Rudy to present one single piece of evidence. And if he did or said anything that she didn’t agree with she would call it contempt and lock him up—and we know she would!

It is also very troubling to see this good man disregarded for all the good he has done for this country, and is treated so badly. I went to Wikipedia and saw multiple pages of his works. He is best known for his prosecuting organized crime (and particularly mafia families), and for his mayorship of New York City and how he drastically reducing the crime rate there.

Here is a list I compiled from Wikipedia of all the good things he has done for this country from 1981 to 2016.

  1. In 1981, Giuliani was named associate attorney general in the Reagan administration.
  2. In a well-publicized 1982 case, Giuliani testified in defense of the federal government’s “detention posture” regarding the internment of more than 2,000 Haitian asylum seekers who had entered the country illegally.
  3. In 1983, Giuliani was appointed to be U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
  4. It was in this position that he first gained national prominence by prosecuting numerous high-profile cases.
  5. He also focused on prosecuting drug dealers, organized crime, and corruption in government. He amassed a record of 4,152 convictions and 25 reversals.
  6. As a federal prosecutor, Giuliani was credited with bringing the perp walk, parading of suspects in front of the previously alerted media, into common use as a prosecutorial tool. After Giuliani “patented the perp walk”, the tool was used by increasing numbers of prosecutors nationwide.
  7. In 1985, through November 19, 1986, Giuliani indicted eleven organized crime figures, including the heads of New York City’s so-called “Five Families“, under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) on charges including extortion, labor racketeering, and murder for hire
  8. Time magazine called this “case of cases” possibly “the most significant assault on the infrastructure of organized crime since the high command of the Chicago Mafia was swept away in 1943.”
  9. In 1987 three heads of the Five Families were sentenced to 100 years in prison. Genovese and Colombo leaders, Tony Salerno and Carmine Persico, received additional sentences in separate trials, with 70-year and 39-year sentences to run consecutively.
  10. According to Giuliani, the Sicilian Mafia offered $800,000 for his death during his first year as mayor of New York in 1994.
  11. Giuliani served as the 107th mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001.
  12. Giuliani’s popularity was at its highest point to date, with a late October 1997 Quinnipiac University Polling Institute poll showing him as having a 68 percent approval rating; 70 percent of New Yorkers were satisfied with life in the city and 64 percent said things were better in the city compared to four years previously.
  13. During Giuliani’s administration, crime rates dropped in New York City.
  14. On 2001Giuliani gained international attention in the wake of the 9/11 attacks and was widely hailed for his leadership role during the crisis.  Oprah Winfrey called him “America’s Mayor” at a 9/11 memorial service held at Yankee Stadium
  15. On December 24, 2001Time magazine named Giuliani its Person of the Year for 2001. Time observed that, before 9/11, Giuliani’s public image had been that of a rigid, self-righteous, ambitious politician. After 9/11, and perhaps owing also to his bout with prostate cancer, his public image became that of a man who could be counted on to unite a city in the midst of its greatest crisis.
  16. With time, Giuliani’s legacy will be based on more than just 9/11. He left a city immeasurably better off – safer, more prosperous, more confident – than the one he had inherited eight years earlier, even with the smoldering ruins of the World Trade Center at its heart. Debates about his accomplishments will continue, but the significance of his mayoralty is hard to deny.
  17. For his leadership on and after September 11, Giuliani was given an honorary knighthood (KBE) by Queen Elizabeth II on February 13, 2002.

Now it is very interesting that as soon as Giuliani began working for Trump, though he was still doing some very good things (investigations and crime fighting), he always seemed to be in deep trouble—financial and legal trouble.

Here is a short list of what he did after 2016:

  1. Giuliani supported Donald Trump in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. He gave a prime time speech during the first night of the 2016 Republican National Convention
  2. During the campaign, Giuliani praised Trump for his worldwide accomplishments and for helping fellow New Yorkers in their time of need.
  3. On 2017 the president-elect [Donald trump] named Giuliani his informal cybersecurity adviser on January 12, 2017.
  4. In January 2017, Giuliani said he advised President Trump in matters relating to Executive Order 13769, which barred citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States for 90 days. The order also suspended the admission of all refugees for 120 days.
  5. In mid April 2018, Giuliani joined Trump’s legal team, which dealt with the special counsel investigation by Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections. Giuliani said his goal was to negotiate a swift end to the investigation.
  6. Since at least May 2019, Giuliani has been urging Ukraine’s newly elected president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to investigate the oil company Burisma, whose board of directors once included Joe Biden‘s son Hunter Biden, and to check for irregularities in Ukraine’s investigation of Paul Manafort. He said such investigations would benefit his client’s defense, and that his efforts had Trump’s full support.
  7. Giuliani spoke at the rally preceding the January 6 United States Capitol attack where he made false claims [they said] of voter fraud and called for “trial by combat”. As a consequence, his license to practice law was suspended in New York State in June 2021, and in the District of Columbia in July 2021.[27][28] Later, he was also listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the federal prosecution of Trump’s alleged attempts to overturn the election.
  8. On June 8, 2021, CNN uncovered exclusive audio of a 2019 phone call from Giuliani to Ukraine, stating that “Rudy Giuliani relentlessly pressured and coaxed the Ukrainian government in 2019 to investigate baseless conspiracies [not baseless] about then-candidate Joe Biden.”
  9. As of February 16, 2021, Giuliani was reportedly not actively involved in any of Trump’s pending legal cases.
  10. But by 2023, Giuliani had reportedly incurred seven-figure legal fees in cases related to Donald Trump and the attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
  11. On August 14, 2023, he was indicted in the prosecution related to the 2020 election in Georgia, along with 18 other people. Giuliani was arrested on August 23, 2023, and a mugshot was released.

So why, after 2016 was Rudy always in deep trouble? Here are some reason that I see:

  • Giuliani was fighting for Trump and that spells trouble, since Trump has always been in some kind of trouble.
  • Rudy if very direct and bold, just like Trump is. He doesn’t back down from a fight.
  • Since Giuliani is very good at investigating crime, all liberal judges are on their guard and are afraid of him. They know that if they let him go too far they will be in trouble; they will be found out for the crooks they are.
  • The judge that ordered him to pay $150 million did it basically to scare him, shut him up, and destroy him, so that he won’t pursue his case any longer.
  • This judge wants to assure the country that Biden did not become President through voting fraud. She want to preserve the lie forever and to assure that Giuliani will not be given a chance to reveal the lies—all the voting lies and all the corruption of the Biden family.

Please know that my opinion of Rudy Giuliani is very positive. That he is a HERO! And a brave crime fighter! And he is still at work. Please pray for his good health and prosperity.

Israel Must have 3 Prerequisites for Peace

Yes, Netanyahu is right. Peace can only come to Israel if Hamas is destroyed, if Gaza is demilitarized, and if the Palestinians are deradicalized. But that will be impossible—unless they give up their evil, hateful ways. So, they must turn to God; they all must turn to God. That is the only way of true peace.

Netanyahu Offers 3 Prerequisites for Peace

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week outlined three prerequisites for peace in the region following months of war with Hamas.

Netanyahu, in an opinion piece published by The Wall Street Journal on Monday, outlined the three: the destruction of Hamas, the demilitarization of Gaza, and the deradicalization of Palestinian society.

“First, Hamas, a key Iranian proxy, must be destroyed. The U.S., U.K., France, Germany, and many other countries support Israel’s intention to demolish the terror group,” Netanyahu wrote.

“Second, Gaza must be demilitarized. Israel must ensure that the territory is never again used as a base to attack it,” he added.

According to Netanyahu, this will involve creating “a temporary security zone” on Gaza’s perimeter and a border inspection system to prevent weapons smuggling. He also claimed that expecting the Palestinian Authority to demilitarize Gaza “is a pipe dream.”

“Third, Gaza will have to be deradicalized,” the prime minster continued. “Schools must teach children to cherish life rather than death, and imams must cease to preach for the murder of Jews. Palestinian civil society needs to be transformed so that its people support fighting terrorism rather than funding it.”

Netanyahu wrote that once these three goals are achieved, “Gaza can be rebuilt and the prospects of a broader peace in the Middle East will become a reality.”

Judge Napolitano and Dershowitz Weigh in on the Colorado Ruling

Both of these constitutional scholars point out that this Colorado ruling undercuts democracy, that Trump was not found guilty of insurrection, and that the Supreme Court must intervein—or our county will be lost.

Judge Napolitano to Newsmax: US Not Democracy if Colorado Trump Ruling Stands

By Brian Freeman    |   Wednesday, 20 December 2023 11:04 AM EST

The U.S. Supreme Court must overturn the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling that Donald Trump cannot appear on the ballot for the state’s Republican presidential primary in March. Otherwise, more states will do the same and the country will stop being a democracy, Judge Andrew Napolitano told Newsmax on Wednesday.

The former New Jersey Superior Court judge told “Wake Up America” that “it’s not the way the system is supposed to work … when judges are at the center of the democratic process, the voters should be at the center of the democratic process.

The 4-3 ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court, whose seven judges were all appointed by Democrats, makes Trump the first presidential candidate ever to be declared ineligible for the presidency under a rarely used provision of the U.S. Constitution that bans officials who have taken part in “insurrection or rebellion” from holding office.

But Napolitano pointed out that “the president has not only not been convicted of participating in or supporting or aiding an insurrection, he has not even been charged with it,” adding that the January 6 charges are not charges of aiding or abetting an insurrection.

If the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision “is not disturbed by the Supreme Court of the United States … then the ballgame will be over for Donald Trump, because other states will do the same thing,” Napolitano  said. “That’s why it is vital that the Supreme Court of the United States interfere with this decision, put it on hold and reverse it and let the voters decide … otherwise we don’t have a democracy.”

Napolitano said he was confident the U.S. Supreme Court will take up the issue in the next few days, because ballots will soon begin to be printed” for the primary in Colorado.

He noted there was a trial in Colorado in which a judge found that Trump did participate in and did incite the insurrection on January 6. The Colorado Supreme Court upheld that decision.

Dershowitz on Colorado: ‘Never Seen a Decision That’s So Anti-Democratic,’ ‘Absurd’

By Charlie McCarthy    |   Wednesday, 20 December 2023 11:07 AM EST

The Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify former President Donald Trump from next year’s presidential ballot “is so anti-democratic,” constitutional expert and legal scholar Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax on Wednesday.

The court’s 4-3 decision Tuesday made Trump the first presidential candidate in U.S. history to be deemed ineligible for the White House under a rarely used provision of the U.S. Constitution that bars officials who have engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” from holding office.

Dershowitz, appearing on “National Report,”called the decision “absurd.”

“In the 60 years I’ve been practicing and teaching law, I’ve never seen a decision that’s so anti-democratic and so unconstitutional; it is absurd,” Dershowitz told co-hosts Emma Rechenberg and Jon Glasgow. “The idea that the 14th Amendment was supposed to substitute for the impeachment provision, carefully drafted by the framers, is wrong.”

The 14th Amendment stipulates the process, which clearly says Congress shall have the power to ensure that a person cannot run for office, Dershowitz continued.

“If you want to impeach a president, if you want to make him not be able to run in the future, there’s a provision. It requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate,” he said. “But the idea that the framers of the 14th Amendment intended to circumvent that carefully drawn provision and simply allow any state to make up grounds for denying him the right to be on the ballot undercuts democracy.”

Also, the Harvard University professor emeritus noted, Trump has not been charged or convicted of taking part in an insurrection, a term that has not been defined legally.

The U.S. Supreme Court will rule against the Colorado decision, and with more than just a conservative majority, according to Dershowitz.

“I think this case will be decided not along party lines in the Supreme Court,” he said. “I think this is such an extreme stretch of the 14th Amendment that he will get more votes than just the people he appointed to the Supreme Court or even the 5-4 conservative majority. I suspect you’ll get the chief justice, and I suspect he’ll get some other justices, as well.

“This is an extreme, extreme stretch. If you go and read the text of the provision, it doesn’t even apply to president. It says no person shall by a senator, or representative or elector, and then it gives an oath of office, and the oath of office is not the presidential oath of office. It’s the senatorial oath of office.

“So even the text of the Constitution doesn’t make it applicable to the president. But the amendment itself was designed simply to prevent people who fought in the Civil War from running for certain offices.”

Update: The News

News

The top of the news is the war in Israel. It seems that all nations are against what Israel is doing. I think the main reason why so many Palestinians are being killed is because Hamas is not letting them out and hiding behind them. It’s a shame. But most Palestinians, even those who are not tied to Hamas, are also against Israel. They have been trained from a child to hate the Jews.

I think the war is going well, and I wish the US and all other nations would let Israel alone and let them fight their own war. I know that if Trump were the Pres. He would support them in whatever they would want and also aid them.

I am most disappointed in the elite colleges like Harvard who aren’t doing one thing to put down the antisemitism and marches. They are getting a very bad reputation as being very liberal and anti-Jewish. Sad!

Both Biden and Trump are on the hot seat. Biden could be impeached for his criminal history—I hope. It’s a different story for Trump. He is wrongly judged for so many things. The New York AG is making it her amusement to get rid of Trump. I guess she is trying to build up her own image and popularity with the people. Sad.

Prophetic Horizons

In just the last few years Russia, Turkey and Iran are coming together and making plans to war together against Israel. This is exactly what the Bible says will happen in the last days (read Ezek. 38, 39). This latest Israel/Hamas war is also prophetic, because it is bringing out so much animosity against Israel. It is shocking to me how many are declaring their hatred against the Jews. It is Satanic. He is working hard to eliminate the Jews. But that won’t happen.

My Reading

I just finished reading about William Tyndale. What a brilliant and dedicated servant of God. Now I’m reading about Eric Liddell, a champion Olympic runner and a missionary to China (from 1923 to 1945). He was such a humble man. He ran for the Lord and used his running fame as a platform to evangelize the lost. He really cared nothing for his own fame; he did everything for the glory of God.

This and That

I’ve been feeling sickly—trying to exercise more and eat better. I didn’t feel like going to church, but I still wanted to and so I did. And it helped me. The fellowship with believers always lifts me up. Church is so necessary for these times (Heb. 10:24-25).

It’s rather warm here is MN—in the 40’s! and no snow. Very odd for Mn.

The Fear of Trump

There is more and more news (from the left media) these days about Trump. But He loves it! I think he knows that in the end their news—intending to dissuade him—will do more to reveal the lefts fears and guilt.

This morning in my newspaper I saw two lengthy articles entitled, “Second term could unleash a darker Donald Trump,” and “Trump declines to rule out abusing power in 2nd term.”

I think trump’s openness about how he thinks is what the right loves about him, and conversely, what the left hates and fears about him. He is not one to be “nice” toward his enemies—that is, toward criminals and antisemites and evil doers of all sorts. He will speak out against it with strong speech, which the left will term “authoritarian rhetoric” and abusive power.”

In these articles, I read today that Trump was being compared to the Chinese authority that killed civilians at Tiananmen Square, all because trump said that they showed strength. But he also said that “they were vicious and horrible. I don’t think that there is anything wrong with praising the strength of a country and a leader even if it is evil. Trump never praised evil—only their strength. But Trump intents to use strength for good—to squash evil, even evil in this country. He wants to secure our boarders and deport all illegals. He wants to stop shoplifting, and to open up the oil wells, and to imprison all known criminal—like Hillary Rodham Clinton and Joe Biden.

Oh they are really after him for using the word “vermin” to describe immigrants he would like to “root out,” mainly because certain former dictators also used that word. So they are using his speech against him.

Oh I am laughing and just loving to see Trump’s enemies scurry like frightened mice when they hear and see him. They know their doom is near.

Netanyahu is Correct in His After the War Assessment

Netanyahu is Correct. Palestinian Authority must not be allowed to return to Gaza. Israel must control the land that God gave to them. They cannot allow terrorists—people that hate them—to be near them, to be in the same land that God gave to only them. The United States must but out of Israel’s business. If we can’t help them in what they want to do, we should but out.

Netanyahu: Palestinian Authority can’t return to Gaza, this isn’t Oslo II

“I won’t repeat this mistake and return this body to Gaza, because the same thing will happen,” Netanyahu said.

By TOVAH LAZAROFF,  DECEMBER 3, 2023

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged not to repeat the mistakes made under the Oslo Accords by allowing the Palestinian Authority to return to Gaza after its military campaign to oust Hamas from that enclave is over.

“One thing for sure I am not doing. I am not ready to delude myself to say that the defective act that took place under Oslo through a terrible error” must now take place a second time with the return of a “hostile entity” to Gaza and the West Bank, he told reporters on Saturday night.

Netanyahu referenced the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s initial exit to Tunisia. He noted that this was a correct decision, adding that the error that had been made was to allow it to return in 1994 with through the Palestinian Authority under the auspices of the 1993 Oslo Accords.“I won’t repeat this mistake and return this body to Gaza, because the same thing will happen,” he said. He referenced the 2007 coup in which Hamas ousted the PA’s Fatah party from Gaza and forcibly seized control of the enclave.

The Palestinian leadership has split into two, Netanyahu said, but the ideology that denies Israel’s right to exist is common to both those who rule in the West Bank and in Gaza.

Instead of seeing the kind of governmental reform that took place in Germany and Japan after defeat in World War II, the opposite will occur if “we will return the same entity – that has not undergone any reform or transformation — into Gaza,” Netanyahu said.

“This is what even our good friends are proposing,” he said.

“I think differently and I oppose this. We have to build something different” once the war is over, he said. He emphasized that Israel must have general control over the territory, including security, but that the internal governance would be Palestinian,” Netanyahu said. He clarified that this reference newly created government entity and not the PA.“The PA doesn’t fight terror it supports it. It doesn’t educate for peace, it educates for the destruction of Israel,” he said. “This isn’t the entity that needs to enter there [Gaza],” he said. The international community and the United States has pushed Israel on the issue of what happens to Gaza after Israel completes it military campaign to destroy Hamas. It did so after the terror group infiltrated southern Israel, killing over 1,200 people and seizing some 240 captives. The United States supports Israel’s military campaign in Gaza but is concerned about the high number of displaced people due to aerial bombings, some 1.9 million out of the 2.7 million that live there, as well as by the high death toll. Hamas has asserted that some 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza war-related violence, without specifying how many of those are combatants. The United States and the international community have called on Israel to minimize civilian casualties and ensure a flow of aid. But they have also looked to the day after and stressed that the PA should govern Gaza, even though they have not offered a viable security alternative for that option. Israel has insisted that the IDF must maintain military control of the enclave. US Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday addressed the Biden administration’s day-after vision for Gaza, when she spoke with reporters on the sidelines of the United Nations COP28 Climate Conference in the United Arab Emirates.“Hamas can not control Gaza and Israel must be secure,” while the Palestinians have a political horizon, she said, explaining that this included the return of a revitalized PA to Gaza. “The PA security forces must be strengthened to eventually assume security responsibilities in Gaza,” Harris said.

“Until then there must be security arrangements that are acceptable to Israel, the people of Gaza, the PA, and the international partners,” Harris said.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza

“The PA must be revitalized driven by the will of the Palestinian people,” she said, adding that this revitalized PA must be able to govern Gaza as well as the PA.Moving forward, she said, “we can not conflate Hamas with the Palestinian people.” Harris clarified that “Hamas is a brutal terror organization that has vowed to repeat October 7 until Israeli is annihilated. No nation could possibly live with such danger.” But how Israel conducts its military operations against Hamas, “it matters how” and international law must be respected. “To many innocent Palestinians have been killed. The scale of humanitarian suffering and the images coming from Gaza have been devastating,” she said. “Israel must do more to protect innocent civilians,” she said. On Saturday night in Ramallah PA President Mahmoud Abbs said that Gaza was “an integral part of the Palestinian state and that “any political solution” must include that enclave as well as the West Bank and east Jerusalem. According to his statement posed on the Palestinian news agency, WAFA, the only solution to the bloodshed, he told PA leaders, is recognition of a Palestinian state on that territory, including UN membership. Abbas called for an international conference to discuss and set a timetable for an Israeli withdrawal to the pre-1967 lines. “We continue with our people to remain steadfast in the battle for survival, freedom, and independence. We will not kneel. We will not surrender to the fait accomplice. We will not allow the Nakba of Palestine in 1948 to be repeated, whatever the circumstances, and no matter how costly the sacrifice.”

Witches and Witch Hunters

I have heard about the “Salem witch trials,” but I have not known the details. Now I do—after reading Killing the Witches, by Bill O’Reily. It’s quite a story. Dreadful!

Before reading this book I read the book, Mayflower, by Nathaniel Philbrick. So I was well informed of the Mayflower pilgrims and their strict ways. In some respects, they were admirable people, studiers of the Scriptures and wanting to do right. But, the way I see it, they were also very legalistic and hypocritical. They did not allow the celebrating of Christmas and Easter; they were not to sing hymns or express joy in song; displays of affection, even for married couples was not allowed and was punished; there was a strict dress code; toys for children were not allowed. Anyway, you get the picture.

The power structure of the Pilgrams ultimately came down from the Kings and Queens of England, but there were also powerful enforcers that came over from the Mayflower, like William Bradford and Captain Myles Standish. They were there to keep the people pure and “sinless.” And the punishment of sins were quite brutal, in some cases deadly.

The anti-witch movement began in England, but soon came to New England by the English Kings, esp. King James, who had an irrational fear of witches. But the English Kings were not worried because the new land had installed excellent witch hunters, namely the preacher and scholar Increase Matther and his son Cotton Mather. Cotton was especially dedicated to witch hunting; and he made it his goal and life achievement to rid the new land of witches. And he had a group of young witch hunters, mostly teenage girls who made a game of finding and accusing anyone they didn’t like of being witches. As far as I could see from the reading, these girls were liars and probably themselves demon possessed. They would bring accusations to anyone they had a grudge against—like their teachers, and the elderly, and even godly ministers.

These young, mischievous girls made a game of pretending that these people whom they accused were afflicting them with spells; and in the court room, whenever the accused would look at them, they pretended that they were being afflicted by witchcraft. Hence, the judges used this acting out by the girls as proof that the accused was a witch. Over and over again, false accusations were made. And in my opinion, all who were accused were innocent. In fact, it was the witch hunters and the accusers who were the guilty ones—even witches and demon possessed.

Shockingly, the law in those days offered no protection for anyone who was accused of a crime. They were declared guilty until proven innocent. And they were not allowed to make their own case or to have anyone speak for them. It was all one sided. And the unfortunate result in Salem, Massachusetts was that many hundreds were accused of witchcraft, and of those many were brutally tortured and were hung by their necks until dead.

Now, as Bill O’Reilly pointed out in his book, no one these days is executed, but many are wrongly accused of crimes, and their lives are ruined.

And who would you say are the innocent victims? and who are the witch hunters? It is clear to me that Donald Trump has been wrongly accused ever since he became President in 2016. True, he isn’t perfect—no one is; but he has been the victim of incredible lies. We can also add Christians as a whole, and Jews, to that list of victims.

And who would you say are the witch hunters? The obvious one is Hilary Clinton; also Barak Obama; and most of the media; and of course the Democratic party. They are all tied together in the big witch hunt. The big fake witch hunt.

And isn’t it interesting that the witch hunters, the ones that are accusing people of crimes, are the witches! It was true in 1692 in Salem, and it is still true today in 2023 in America.

Jews and Christians: Hated by All Nations, Matthew 24:9

It looks like this Hamas attack, and the resulting war in Israel, has provoked the haters to action. We are seeing now how many of these evil haters—haters of Jews and true Christians—there are. Many of them. And this revelation is a sign that the coming Tribulation and the proceeding Rapture of the Church is very close. Please read the following article.

Global Explosion Of Hate – Another Sign Of The End Times

BY MICHAEL SNYDER/ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG NOVEMBER 03, 2023

What we are witnessing is truly frightening.  In my entire lifetime, I have never seen as much hate as I have over the past few weeks.  It is almost as if a very large chunk of the global population has suddenly gone mad.  But of course all of this hate did not come out of a vacuum.

It has been simmering for many years, and now the war in the Middle East has brought it to the surface.

Humans were created to love and to be loved, and so if you find yourself consumed with hatred you are part of the problem.  Of course we knew that this global explosion of hate would be coming.  The Bible warns us repeatedly about what the condition of humanity will be like in the end times.  One example of this can be found in Matthew chapter 24…

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

When Jesus spoke these words, He was speaking to Jewish believers.

And right now we are seeing a tremendous outpouring of hatred toward Jews and Bible-believing Christians all over the planet.

October 7th was not a one time thing.

Ultimately, radical Muslims will never be satisfied until they have annihilated every single person that is not willing to submit to Islam.

Even though their focus is on wiping out Jewish people living in the land of Israel right now, it will definitely not end there.

So the things that Hamas official Ghazi Hamad recently said on LBC TV should chill all of us to the core…

Ghazi Hamad of the Hamas political bureau said in an October 24, 2023 show on LBC TV (Lebanon) that Hamas is prepared to repeat the October 7 “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation time and again until Israel is annihilated. He added that Palestinians are willing to pay the price and that they are “proud to sacrifice martyrs.” Hamad said that Palestinians are the victims of the occupation, therefore no one should blame them for the events of October 7 or anything else, adding: “Everything we do is justified.”

This is a man that has been totally consumed by hatred.

And there are millions upon millions of others just like him all over the world.

Since October 7th, we have seen an explosion of anti-Jewish acts that is truly unprecedented…

In Los Angeles, a man screaming “kill Jews” attempts to break into a family’s home. In London, girls in a playground are told they are “stinking Jews” and should stay off the slide. In China, posts likening Jews to parasites, vampires or snakes proliferate on social media, attracting thousands of “likes”.

These are examples of incidents of antisemitism, which have surged globally since the attack by Hamas gunmen on southern Israel on Oct. 7 and subsequent war on the Islamist group launched by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

Thanks to very foolish immigration policies, major cities all over the western world are now absolutely teeming with radical Muslims.

We have been warned for a long time that this would cause massive problems, and now Jewish communities everywhere are living in fear.

In France, large numbers of homes and businesses that are owned by Jewish people are being marked with paint…

France already documented 819 ‘latent’ antisemitic attacks since the war between Hamas and Israel began on October 7, according to Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin.

In Jewish homes on the outskirts of Paris, multiple blue Stars of David have been painted on homes and stone fences.

Swastikas have also been sprayed next to Jewish institutions, and students have been publicly harassed outside of Jewish schools.

Sadly, this isn’t just happening in France.

Similar things are taking place in Germany…

Recent weeks have seen Germany’s chancellor, Olaf Scholz, vow to take a “zero tolerance” approach to antisemitism, citing the responsibility towards Israel given Germany’s role as the perpetrator of the Holocaust, in which six million Jews were murdered.

Other national leaders have echoed those concerns.

In recent days Scholz has doubled down on the pledge, after assailants hurled two molotov cocktails at a synagogue in central Berlin and the Star of David was found daubed on the facades of several buildings where Jews live in Berlin.

There is no rational way to explain the intensity of this hatred.

And that is because it is spiritually inspired.

Many Christians have commented about the dark spiritual connection to everything going on and how it has a supernatural undertone to it all.

Unfortunately, what we have witnessed so far is just the beginning.

As the war in the Middle East really ramps up, I believe that we will see some truly dramatic terror attacks all over the world.

On Tuesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned members of Congress that the threat of terrorism inside the United States has reached “a whole other level”…

Terrorist threats against the U.S. reached “a whole other level” after the Hamas attack on Israel, FBI Director Christopher A. Wray told Congress on Tuesday, saying the big players in terrorism have all renewed calls to attack America and its interests.

He said the level of threats has heightened since President Biden took office, though U.S. law enforcement is “better prepared to deal with them.”

“The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of attack on Americans to a whole other level,” Mr. Wray said.

From this point forward, things are going to start getting really crazy.

However, God warned us about all of these things in advance, He has a plan, and He is in control.

So even though darkness is rapidly growing all over the world, we should never give in to fear for greater is He who is in you than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Netanyahu: This Is A Time For War

“The Bible says that there is a time for peace and a time for war. This is a time for war – a war for our common future.

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — The following is the full, unedited text of the statement that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made Monday night before taking questions from the international press corps.

Until recently, many believed that the promise of progress of the 21st century would enable us to move beyond the barbaric horrors of the past towards a better and brilliant future.

Many believed that we could go about our comfortable lives and that evil will simply pass us by.

It will not.

The horrors that Hamas perpetrated on October 7th remind us that we will not realize the promise of a better future unless we, the civilized world, are willing to fight the barbarians.

Because the barbarians are willing to fight us.

And their goal is clear: Shatter that promising future, destroy all that we cherish and usher in a world of fear and darkness.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is a turning point, a turning point for leaders and nations.

It is time for all of us to decide if we are willing to fight for a future of hope and promise; or surrender to tyranny and terror.

Now rest assured, Israel will fight.

Since October 7th, Israel has been at war. Israel did not start this war.

Israel did not want this war.

But Israel will win this war.

Hamas launched this war by perpetrating the worst savagery our people have seen since the Holocaust.

Hamas murdered children in front of their parents.

Murdered parents in front of their children.

They burnt people alive.

They raped women.

They beheaded men.

They tortured Holocaust survivors.

They kidnapped babies.

They committed the most horrific crimes imaginable.

And they’re a part of the axis of evil Iran has formed, an axis of terror that works by arming, training and financing Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and other terror proxies throughout the Middle East and beyond the Middle East.

In fighting Hamas and the Iranian axis of terror, Israel is fighting the enemies of civilization itself. Victory over these enemies begins with moral clarity.

It begins with knowing the difference between good and evil, between right and wrong.

It means making a moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that accompany every legitimate war, even the most just war.

It means holding Hamas responsible for the double war crime it commits every day by deliberately targeting Israeli civilians while using Palestinians civilians as human shields.

It means making clear that the use of human shields is not only an immoral tactic of terror but also an ineffective one.

Because as long as Hamas’ use of Palestinian human shields results in the international community blaming Israel, Hamas will continue to use it as a tool of terror, and so will others.

Hamas will continue to use the basements in Gaza’s hospitals as the command posts of its vast terror tunnel network. It will continue to use mosques as fortified military positions and weapons depots. It will continue to steal fuel and humanitarian assistance from UN facilities.

While Israel is doing everything to get Palestinian civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything to keep Palestinian civilians in harm’s way.

Israel urges Palestinian civilians to leave the areas of armed conflict, while Hamas prevents those civilians from leaving those areas at gunpoint.

Hamas is also preventing foreign nationals from leaving Gaza altogether. And most despicably, Hamas is holding over 200 Israelis hostage, including 33 children: holding them, terrorizing them, keeping them as hostages.

Every civilized nation should stand with Israel in demanding that these hostages be freed immediately and freed unconditionally.

I want to make clear Israel’s position regarding a ceasefire. Just as the United States would not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack of 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of October 7th.

Calls for a ceasefire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism. That will not happen.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Bible says that there is a time for peace and a time for war. This is a time for war – a war for our common future.

Today, we draw a line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand. Israel will stand against the forces of barbarism until victory.

I hope and pray that civilized nations everywhere will back this fight, because Israel’s fight is your fight. Because if Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil win – you will be their next target.

That’s why Israel’s victory will be your victory. But make no mistake. Regardless of who stands with Israel, Israel will fight until this battle is won. And Israel will prevail.

May God Bless Israel and May God Bless all those who stand with Israel.
