The snow’s melted now, but just a few days ago this is what it looked like in my back yard.

Soon it will be so green you you won’t be able to see through.

I was glad to see the snow and ice thawed off of Rice Creek, so I thought I would follow it around and get a few photos. It a little difficult walking in the dead grass; I had to be careful not to turn my ankle. Overall, it was a wonderful day.

The beginning of my walk is through the trees.

This is a favorite trail for couples.

I veered off the main trail to walk along the creek. Just two weeks ago it was iced over.

This looks like the work of beavers, but I haven’t seen one yet. Maybe they work during the night.

It’s very grassing along the creek. The Spring and Autumn is the best time to walk here. In the summer it is almost impossible with the grass being so tall and thick.

It isn’t technically Spring yet, but this day was very Spring-like.

This is the only place on this small lake where there is water for the ducks to play. There is an underwater current here that melts the ice and draws the ducks.

Most of the walking path is dry and free of snow and ice. Soon all the snow will melt.

We just had a few inches of snow, but a few days ago when I touch these pictures the sun was shining bright.

A lot of people were out enjoying the good weather and the sunshine.

I took this outside my west window.

Abiding also means to dwell with and to be connected to as a branch is to a vine. I conclude, therefore, that abiding in Jesus means that we are continually dwelling with Him and perpetually letting His life flow into us just as living sap flows from a vine to its branches; hence, it means that we are always sipping and tasting and drinking in His goodness, ever being satisfied with what we need and long for.
Now it seems that…

This is a February Sunset four years ago. I remember when I took this. It was a lot warmer then.

Here’s the last puzzle I did, called “Lighthouse Sunset.” It was 750 pieces, and it was a lot of fun. I enjoy puzzles and it keeps me out of trouble. Ha ha.
