In the last few years nations have been more interested in establishing peace with Israel; more want to be a part of the Abraham peace accord. And now even Saudi Arabia is interested in peace.
What is happening? Surely, these nations are not turning their back on their own Muslim religion in favor of the Jewish religion. They still hate Israel. Yet they want peace. They are tired of war. And they surely don’t want war with Israel.
Also, what is happening is the confirming of biblical prophecy. It is all coming together. According to Ezekiel 38, Israel will soon, and more and more, be a nation where the people are secure, living in safety and a land that has recovered from war, and also a very prosperous and fruitful land (vv. 8, 11,12,14).
And so it is interesting that, as prophesied, the nations closest to and all around Israel are now more peaceful to Israel. But the nations further out from Israel will soon war with Israel. These nations in particular are Russia (or Gog), Iran, Turkey, and a few others. The leader of this group will be Russia. And the reason they will want to go to war with Israel is found in Ezekiel 38:12-13. They will be looking to plunder and steal her land and wealth.
I don’t think I will see all this happen in my life time. I think this (the war of Gog and Magog) will happen sometime after the Rapture. But isn’t it exciting to see things all come together—to see Israel become more secure than ever before; to see the popularity of the Abraham accord—even now with Saudi Arabia.
Christian, our time of Rapture is just around the corner. Keep looking up!
I’ve been struggling again with my perfection thing. Lately it’s been with my latest book publishing project—with getting the book cover perfect, centered. Now I’m trying decide whether I will just leave it, or send it back to the printer and try again. I will take another day or two to make my decision. But I just hate to be delayed again. This is why I hate publishing—delay, delay, delay. My painting is somewhat the same. I mean, I am a perfectionist on that too. I don’t want to see any mistakes. Oh, I long for my perfect, redeemed body when I shall see Him face to face and be like Him.
It’s Monday—new beginnings. A day when I like to read the comic Garfield. A day to be lazy and need my coffee. Laughing helps. I also have found some help this morning reading an article in the sports section of the newspaper about how my baseball team did. I enjoy reading how our newest pitcher, Keuchel, did—so encouraging to hear his positive words as to how he went about his pitching.
I’ve been reading the book Mayflower, by Nathaniel Philbrick. There is so much in this book that I didn’t know about how or country got started. There was so much tragedy and death that I had no idea about. And most people know hardly anything about what is called King Philip’s war in 1675-1676. This war, the English against the Indians, was so very brutal—even worse than the Civil War, but thank God it was short. This was all before the better things happened—like the writing of the Constitution, etc. But overall, our country still was born of much blood and strife and prayer.
And now it seems that our country is on the edge of great disaster and ruin. Much prayer is needed. We need to turn to 2 Chron. 7:14, to find the promise of God if we will pray. We who are Christians need to pray.
Things to stay away from:
All new age rainbow stuff.
AI-Jesus. If asked about this, point them to the true Jesus in the Gospels.
I can think of a number of interesting things to write about. But there is mainly just one thing on my mind: that evil is infiltrating our country, and the world, and the fact that nothing is being done about it. There are a few voices that are standing up for the truth (which I hear on Newsmax, and conservative radio, and of course from my church). But the overwhelming message is a false message that comes from the media and the Democratic party (the white house).
That false message, that worldly voice, is a voice that suppresses the truth about God and the way He made us. It is a voice that rebels against God and listens only to the voice of lust and of fulfilling our degrading passions. And so, it seems that wherever I go these days I witness the celebration of transgenderism and queers. And then I hear our own President support this evil!
And lately I see rainbow banners everywhere celebrating Pride Month. And I am reminded that this must have been how it was just before the flood when only Noah was found righteous. Yes, I think we are almost there; it is almost time to be rescued on the Ark before the world again is destroyed, this time by fire and wind and hail and earthquakes.
But praise God! We (all believers) will be rescued out of it—just as Noah was.
I feel so sad to hear how badly our former President is being treated. It is so unfair to treat him like a criminal when others who came before him did far worse things and got by with it. The things they are charging him with now are only to keep him from running for office again. And, as we know, the Biden family is getting away with murder. They are so corrupt! The Clintons, Obama, and now the Biden’s are so very corrupt. And they all have been selling out our country to China and Russia. Yes, I’m sure they know all our classified secrets; Biden has told them. And how much did they get? Millions, even billions! And we do nothing! They get away with it. I heard someone say today that we have turned into Venezuela. Yes, it was Guiliani that said it. He should know. Since Biden has been in office he has turned this country into Venezuela.
Now why is Biden and his team of mobsters so intent on convicting and locking Donald Trump up? That question is easy. It is because if he returns to office he will start revealing the truth about them. And, as the bible says, “Everyone who does evil hates the Light.” And he “will not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed” (Jn. 3:19-20).
I sure do not think that Donald Trump is like Christ; but I think he certainly can and will be used for God’s good purpose and for bringing His judgment to this Nation. And I think people are fearing that he can and will do it—expose their sins. I would so like to see judgment fall on the Biden’s. They are a crime family if I have ever seen one. God’s judgment needs to come to them. It is the best thing that could happen to them and to this country—to see justice done.
I was going to write a little on my own situation, but it seems that this topic has trumped everything. These are such evil days—as in the days of Noah. Is there no turning back? How can it get any worse? Yet it seems to be getting worse and worse.
AI is more in the news now. It will and already is being used for evil purposes. It will help students cheat on their assignments. It will be used for every immoral deed. I’m sure it will be used in the porn industry, and to bring more and more immorality to the world. AI will be used by every criminal, and of course it will be used in war. If you think that AI will be used for good and for peace, I kind of doubt it. Since humans are sinful and humans program AI, how can AI ever produce anything good? In fact, it will be AI that will give life and a voice to the image of the beast, and all people will be force to worship him or they will die (Rev. 13:15).
The global climate cult is getting ready to kick its war on food into overdrive with 13 nations – many of them major cattle and food-producing states led by the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Spain – signing onto a commitment to place farmers under new restrictions intended to reduce emissions of methane gas.
The Global Methane Hub announced in a May 17 press release that agriculture and environmental ministers and ambassadors from 13 countries, including the United States, have signed a commitment that pledges to reduce methane emissions in agriculture. The U.S. was represented by Biden’s climate czar, John Kerry.
What does this mean and why should you care? We’ll break it down.
According to the press release issued by these nations and posted at Global Methane Hub:
“Last month (in April 2023), the Global Methane Hub collaborated with the Ministries of Agriculture of Chile and Spain to convene the first-ever global ministerial on agricultural practices to reduce methane emissions. The ministerial brought together high-ranking government members to share global perspectives on methane reduction and low-emission food systems. The gathering led to a statement in which the nations committed to support efforts to improve the quality and quantity of, and access to, finance for climate change adaptation and mitigation measures in the agriculture and food sectors and to collaborate on efforts aimed at lowering methane emissions in agriculture and food systems.”
Besides trying to eat right and making sure we take the dreaded drugs every day, the most important thing we can do to fight diabetes is to begin counting the carbohydrates in the foods we eat and make sure we get the right amount of exercise every day. Then a third step will be to test our blood to see how we are doing—how high our blood sugar is. Okay, lets take it one step at a time. Let’s talk about carb counting.
Carb Counting
The amount of carbs that you consume each day will tell you how much sugar will go into your blood. When I first was told that I had diabetes, I was told by a nurse that I needed to start counting my carbs and to try not to consume any more than 150 carbs per day. And I found that when I did that, my blood sugar (glucose) went down. So, it’s really quite automatic. When you keep your carbs down your blood sugar will go down.
Here’s the best idea I have come up with to keep track of my carbs every day. For each day, I take a 3 by 4-inch card and record everything I eat, and list the carbs in each food item on the right side like so:
Monday
Oatmeal with fruit 50
Coffee with sugar 5
Subway sandwich 46
Cooked vegetables
with a potato 35
Chicken with bread 18
Total Carbs 154
You can very easily find the carb amounts by Googling it. Just type in the kind of subway sandwich (6” wheat bread with roasted chicken and veggies) and ask for the carb amount. You may want to make a list of everything you usually eat with the amount of carbs in it, and tape it up somewhere in your kitchen where you will see it. Before long you will know that one cup of fruit is about 15 carbs. And the wheat bread I eat is 18 carbs per slice. You may also know that on most packaged food items are listed the amount of carbs for one serving.
Exercise
You should exercise every day. The days I work I don’t really have to worry too much because I walk around all day long. But the days I have off I usually go for at least a mile brisk walk. Swimming is also very good exercise. It is up to you what you do, but the more you exercise the better things will be for you—the lower your blood sugar will be.
Blood Sugar Testing
The most common way to test your blood sugar is to get yourself a meter, some test strips, a lancing device, and a box of lancets (the needles). These things can be purchased at any drug store, but your doctor may also prescribe these things for you. The process is to insert a lancet into the lancing device, then take a test strip and insert that into the slot in your meter. Then, after cleaning one of your fingers with alcohol, shoot the lancet into your finger. You will get a little blood, and then apply that blood to the tip of the test strip, and the meter will tell you how much sugar (glucose) is in your blood. The average is from 70 to 100. So, if you get anywhere close to 100 you are doing good. But if you are over 200, that’s not good. You need to lower your carbs and get more exercise. Of course, you also need to keep on your Metformin (or whatever you are taking) until your doctor tells you anything different.
If you don’t have diabetes and don’t wish to have it, there are some things you can do to prevent it. Here is what I would recommend.
If anyone in your family has diabetes find out what they have been doing wrong and make sure you do not follow their habits. Chances are you will get diabetes through your genes if one of your parents has it. But you can cut down the chances if you can develop good habits.
Eat only healthy foods—mainly fruits and vegetables. Stay away from sugary foods and processed foods (I will talk more on this later).
Don’t eat too much—only what your body needs.
Exercise regularly and keep your weight down. Most diabetics are overweight.
Even though you may not be classified as a diabetic yet, check your blood sugar (see your druggist about how to do it) at least once a month; and if it is a little high, cut down on what you eat (especially your carbohydrates) and increase you exercise.
If you find that your blood sugar count is high (normal is 70 to 100 if fasting), and you can’t seem to lower it, then it is time to start a drug treatment. Check with your doctor to help you decide which drug to use. My doctor has put me on Metformin—a very common diabetes drug. In this next segment we will talk about what it is, how it works, its side effects, who should not use it, the food to avoid while taking Metformin, and foods to include white taking this drug.
The following information on Metformin was acquired from two sources sited below.
Why Metformin is a good drug (5 reasons)
According to the articles sited below, Metformin is the most commonly used drug to treat diabetes.
Metformin has a long record of being safe and effective.
It does not cause weight gain as many other diabetes drugs do. In fact, it may even help you lose weight.
Research shows that it may have heart health benefits.
Some studies show that Metformin will lower your risk of cancer.
How Metformin works
Most scientists admit that they don’t know exactly how Metformin works; they only know that it does work. Here is what it does: it helps your cells to absorb and use sugar more effectively. In short, Metformin supposedly helps the body to do what it should do. Maybe someday we will discover what is in this drug to make it work as it does.
What are the side effects of Metformin?
There are only a few mild side effects that will involve stomach discomfort: gas, upset stomach, possible nausea, possible vomiting, diarrhea, and cramping. Personally, I don’t experience half of these; I mainly just have some cramping and slight diarrhea. And the good news is that you can avoid most of this by taking Metformin with food and plenty of water.
Who should not take Metformin
People who have kidney disease, liver problems, or a buildup of acid in your blood should not take Metformin. Also, a condition known as lactic acidosis is rare, but can be life threatening. If you discover that you have this—which you will experience as muscle pain, trouble breathing, and feel very weak—you should discontinue Metformin and call your doctor; you will need to be treated in a hospital.
Foods to avoid while taking Metformin
Here are six categories of foods to avoid while taking metformin (or even if you are not taking Metformin):
Alcohol. Alcohol use may lead to lactic acid and kidney failure.
Foods with simple and refined carbs like white bread, white rice and pasta, candy, soda pop, desserts, chips and crackers. These things will spike your blood sugar and make Metformin not work as effectively.
Saturated fats like red meat and dairy products (but you may eat low fat dairy).
Trans fat like baked goods or fast foods. Skip those McDonalds hamburgers and French fries!
Foods with a lot of sodium. Check the labels of all can goods. Most canned soups are loaded with sodium (salt).
Grapefruit. Recent studies have shown that chemicals in this fruit interacts with the enzymes in our liver and will cause Metformin not to work effectively.
Foods to include while taking Metformin
Complex carbohydrates such as brown rice, whole grain oats, whole-grain bread. The fiber in these foods slows the rate at which your body converts carbs into glucose, leading to more stable blood glucose levels.
Healthy fats such as fish, nuts, avocados and olive oil. They will help fight inflammation and protect heart health.
Fiber. Eat foods with fiber such as grain bread, fruit, and fresh vegetables. However, do not take fiber supplements or fiber powder (such as psyllium husk) when taking Metformin, since that may change the way your body absorbs the drug.
Lean proteins. These are turkey, chicken without fat, and fish.
Non-starchy vegetable like broccoli, cabbage, leafy greens, and cauliflower. You should eat these both raw and cooked.
I am seventy-two years old. I think I am in relatively good health for my age; but lately I haven’t been feeling as energetic, and I am in poorer health than I use to be. Well, I found out a couple of years ago that I have type II Diabetes, and my doctor says that I have to keep my carbs down and get regular exercise. And since I am retired now—or semi-retired—that is a little bit of a problem. I mean, I spend too much time on the couch; whereas, when I was working (as a house painter), I was active all day.
So anyway, it has been hard for me to change my lifestyle and do what I should—or what is required of me as a diabetic. One of the ways I have always found to help myself change is by reading in order to understand the problem, and then share it with others. So, what I have decided to do is read up on diabetes and then blog on it. I know this will get me moving and will help me to do what I need to do. Well, I have already done most of the reading, and here is an outline of what I will be blogging on.
What is diabetes
How to prevent and or treat diabetes
On carb counting, exercise, and blood testing
Lifestyle changes
These are my next four proposed blog posts. I am not an expert on this subject, nor am I a doctor, so please take this information for what it is—just my opinion and what I have found in my reading. I hope this information will be helpful to you.
Diabetes: What Is It?
If you don’t know anything about diabetes; if you don’t know the science of it or what causes it, you can still know that you probably have it, due to your symptoms. Here is a list of some things to look for.
Fatigue or a loss of energy
Drowsiness
Frequent urination
Unusual thirst
Blurred vision
Numbness in hands and feet
Itching of the skin
Infections
You may have just a few of these symptoms, or all of them, depending on how long you have had diabetes and how long you have let it get out of control.
What causes diabetes. Diabetes, according to my understanding of common knowledge, starts from a defect in the production of insulin by the pancreas. Yes, it seems like much of the problem is in the pancreas; it is not producing enough insulin, or enough that works properly.
Insulin is very necessary to the body. When it works as it should, it will act as a conduit or an agent to bring glucose (sugar) from your blood stream to your cells so that you will have the energy you need. But if your insulin is defective in some way, or if there is not enough insulin produced, then, well, that is why diabetics have low energy.
Another thing that happens is that because insulin is not breaking through to the cells as it should, there is a backup of glucose in the blood. Hence, there is too much glucose in the blood and not enough in the cells. So, when you eat food, the glucose goes into the blood stream, but does not get absorbed into the body tissues (the cells)—as is the job of the insulin. Thus, in type II diabetes, our blood sugar is too high and the sugar we need and crave in our cells is low.
Insulin resistance. Some scientists have used this term to describe what is going on in diabetes. They say that there is a resistance in the cells in my body to the insulin that is trying to bring me the glucose I need. And that resistance is mainly from the built-up fat in the body, a poor diet, and a lack of physical activity. But in many cases we can also put the blame on our parents, because most diabetes is genetic.
In the end, whoever we choose to blame, we must take responsibility for ourselves. If we don’t, if we don’t take some positive action to fight against this disease we will find that in the end it will catch up to us and be too late. If we don’t head off this disease early, we can be sure that the following things will occur:
Our blood vessels will become saturated with sugar and become brittle and useless.
Blindness
Our nervous system will break down and will result in amputations.
Your joints will stop moving.
Your kidneys will be destroyed.
Strokes and heart disease
Eventually, if left untreated, diabetes will kill you.
Under Biden, the southern “border” has become a giant, open-air staging ground from which illegal aliens bludgeon U.S. territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 1,671,266 illegal aliens during President Donald Trump’s final 27 months in power. In Biden’s first 27 months, they encountered a breathtaking 5,249,144 illegal aliensup a skin-crawling 314%.
In fiscal year 2020, the last one that Trump fully controlled, 69,000 illegal migrants were detected on the “border” but got away into America’s interior. In fiscal year 2022 (entirely on Biden’s watch), “gotaways” hit 599,000—up a mind-blowing 768% versus fiscal year 2020.
Did you hear about the new Fox News TV series? “Two spoiled brats and a clueless RINO.” It’s the tragic story of Rupert Murdoch’s two spoiled-brat sons from liberal, woke Europe, and the quarterback running their Fox News playbook: hapless, clueless, bitter Paul Ryan.
Fox News in a matter of days ended relationships with the No. 1 host on cable TV (Tucker Carlson) and the No. 1 host of weekend cable TV (Dan Bongino).
Great moves, if you want to be the new Bed Bath & Beyond.
Let’s start with the Fox News leadership, then we’ll get to the reasons behind these idiotic decisions.
Rupert Murdoch is a very old, out-of-touch billionaire who is now semi-retired and busy trying to marry gals 30 years younger. He has put the real control of FNC into the hands of his son Lachlan (with ultra-liberal son James always lurking in the shadows). These are kids that were born on third base and think they hit a triple.
I couldn’t hardly believe some of the stories about what has happened in some hospitals to covid patients—how they were mistreated. Read it for yourself—the article below. I’m sure there are many good hospitals. I guess it all depends on who the governor is—how that state is run and whether they are following the evil directives of the country. We certainly need a new President fast. We need a new system. We need someone who is not afraid to go against the World Health Organization and against evil global directives. But I suppose it is something that we should expect in these last days. It will get worse and worst. As Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:13: “But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
Please, as you read the article below, please pray that God will help and also show people the truth.
Hospitals should be places you can trust to provide comfort and healing when you’re most vulnerable. But that trust may have been shattered by brutal Covid protocols that critics claim turned many hospitals into hellscapes of systematic medical murder.
The victims’ stories have been muffled by the mainstream media, but they’re starting to break through. For one thing, lawsuits against three hospitals have been filed in California by 14 bereaved families who claim their loved ones were killed by a deadly protocol. Meanwhile, activist organizations like Protocol Kills, the FormerFedsGroup Freedom Foundation, and American Frontline Nurses are collecting and documenting stories from bereaved families about what happened to their loved ones when they entered a hospital hoping for healing and, instead, were led to bizarre and tortured deaths.
I find it heartbreaking to read their stories, which share a haunting similarity, a feeling of being trapped in a highly organized nightmare. The ritual progresses in predictable stages: first, the patient is isolated from family, who are unable to advocate for their loved one or monitor what’s happening. Next, the patient is diagnosed with Covid-19 or Covid pneumonia, even if they came to the hospital because of a broken arm. Then, they’re bullied into getting remdesivir, a highly toxic drug which killed 53 percent of Ebola patients who had the misfortune to take it. Next, according to the California lawsuit, “They are placed on a BiPap machine at a high rate, making it difficult for them to breathe. Their hands are often tied down so they can’t take the BiPap machine off their face.”
I know this is getting unbearably painful to read, but stay with me to the bitter end to memorialize the victims’ suffering. As the patients writhe in agony, psychiatrists are brought in to diagnose them with agitation and sedate them. Now, shot up with remdesivir, sedated with drugs that make it tough to breathe against the BiPap ventilator, and strapped down in restraints, the victims are denied food and sometimes even water. Should they try to summon help, they may find the hospital played a vicious trick on them, placing their phone and call button for the nurse out of reach. In the final stages, they are intubated and slowly die alone, left to rot into a skeletal corpse with bed sores. Is this America?
It’s almost impossible to comprehend the magnitude of this moral collapse. How did doctors and nurses who spent years studying so they could help people all of a sudden turn into ruthless sadists, presiding over enforced deaths? How did hospitals metastasize from places of healing into chambers of horror? According to the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), the answer is quite simple: money. The federal government incentivized this protocol with massive payouts to the hospitals. AAPS writes, “Our formerly trusted medical community of hospitals and hospital-employed medical staff have effectively become “bounty hunters” for your life.”
AAPS explains that two Covid emergency acts from the government created this catastrophic loss of life. The CARES Act, a $2 trillion stimulus package, was passed in 2020, purportedly to ease the financial impact of Covid on American families. It provided gigantic bonuses to hospitals to institute federal protocols on Covid, ensuring that Covid would be massively diagnosed and treated with deadly combinations of remdesivir, ventilators, and other lethal methods.
Now that this top-down death protocol was bought and paid for, the government made sure that patients and their families were helpless to fight against it. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) granted waivers to hospitals allowing them to remove critical patient rights. Your ability to give informed consent, receive visitors, and be free from solitary confinement – gone! Vanished, obliterated with a single magical government “waiver.”
These actions destroyed the ability of doctors to make independent judgements based on their patients’ needs and turned highly trained medical staff into killer robots obeying the federal government’s commands. If you want to understand the enormity of the government money gusher, here’s AAPS on what the hospital payments included:
A “free” required PCR test in the Emergency Room or upon admission for every patient, with government-paid fee to hospital.
Added bonus payment for each positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
Another bonus for a COVID-19 admission to the hospital.
A 20 percent “boost” bonus payment from Medicare on the entire hospital bill for use of remdesivir instead of medicines such as Ivermectin.
Another and larger bonus payment to the hospital if a COVID-19 patient is mechanically ventilated.
More money to the hospital if cause of death is listed as COVID-19, even if patient did not die directly of COVID-19.
A COVID-19 diagnosis also provides extra payments to coroners.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans may have died due to these protocols, and we urgently need an investigation into this butchery. Who designed this protocol, which forbade safe drugs like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, and incentivized known toxins like remdesivir? Who enforced it? Were hospital administrators personally rewarded for their participation in this scheme? Were patients illegally deprived of their constitutional rights and defrauded with phony medical information? Why were patients denied nutrition and water? How was hospital staff forced to comply? Where’s the money trail? Who signed off on it?
Understanding what happened in the hospitals is a crucial piece of solving the Covid puzzle. A vast ecosystem of confusion, manipulation, and artificially induced panic was created by the government and their media lackeys to stampede the public into welcoming soul-crushing lockdowns and dangerous experimental injections. Hospitals were shut down for elective surgeries, depriving them of their usual income and making them more desperate for government payouts. Covid patients were forced into nursing homes, immediately killing thousands of frail victims and terrifying the public with the skyrocketing death count. Safe, widely used drugs like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin were demonized, and studies were fabricated to lie about their effectiveness. Doctors and scientists who tried to speak the truth were fired, investigated, and censored. Why?
We’re living through a time of historic crimes against humanity, rife with atrocities that once would have been unimaginable in America. We don’t yet know how many innocent people were killed in the hospitals during Covid, but whatever that number is — some experts estimate hundreds of thousands — it’s too many. Every one of those innocent dead was someone’s son, daughter, mother, father, husband, wife, friend.
For all the faceless dead, let’s pause for a moment to pay tribute to Grace Schara, a sweet 19-year-old girl with Down Syndrome who died on October 13, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin. Grace was injected with a lethal mix of sedatives and as she sank into death, her sister was prevented from seeing her by an armed guard. Her parents begged over Facetime for the nurse to save her, but they were told that Grace was coded DNR (Do Not Resuscitate), although they had ordered the hospital to take all life-saving measures. Alone, uncomprehending, and in pain, Grace slowly died as her parents watched on Facetime. Her father, Scott Schara, is now suing the hospital to “pave the way for thousands of other victims’ families to file similar claims.” Grace was loved. May her memory be a blessing and an inspiration.
