I think the best reward we will get is to hear Jesus say to us in front of all, “Well done My good and faithful servant.” That alone will be enough. But He has more in store for us that will be a joy to us for eternity. Our reward for eternity will be ownership of land, rulership, and areas of responsibility.

By land ownership. According to Randy Alcorn, from his book, Heaven, we will be “pioneers and settlers on the New Earth.”3 The term “inherit the earth” is God’s promise to those who fear Him and wait on Him, and is a term that suggests land ownership on the New Earth (and, I think, also on the new millennial earth).
