This 713-page book is a very comprehensive bible-based study of prayer, including several short quotes from some of the most well-known authors on prayer, such as E. M. Bounds, Andrew Murray, Charles Spurgeon, Hudson Taylor and many others. Its fifty-two chapters are arranged in alphabetical order, with forty prayer topics and a five-chapter survey of all the prayers of the bible. Its new revision includes larger font to make it more readable, and a handy Scripture index.

The Rapture of the church has been one of the most controversial subjects of Christendom. In fact, the entire area of biblical prophecy seems to be a touchy subject for most churches. Much has been said about the millennial kingdom through the centuries in the Scriptures and in many books. But sadly, today we find that the truth about the millennium has been lost or corrupted. It seems that most of us don’t know what to believe about it. This book will help us to rediscover the millennium as we examine over 500 bible passages. In the first chapter the reader will discover nine progressive phases of the kingdom of God throughout history, all of which lead to a more perfect kingdom—the millennial kingdom. In the next two chapters we see how the King comes to the earth and how His kingdom is set up. In the remaining chapters five great purposes of the millennium are discussed, followed by the last things—events which take place after the millennium is over. The greater portion of the book is dedicated to the immediate effects of the Rapture, setting up a global government and religion, the rise of the Antichrist, and the third temple. Heavenly events described in the last two chapters are about the judgment seat of Christ and the Marriage of the Lamb. Overall, this book promises not only valuable information, but a sense of intrigue.

This is not a book on all the personal tribulations/trials we may go through. It is on the seven-year Tribulation written about in the book of Revelation, and also in the Old Testament prophetical books. The Tribulation is a product of my study of Scripture, and also from a few other bible scholars whom I trust. As to its content, about half of the book introduces The Tribulation, giving important information as to it setting, its purpose, and its nature. Then in the second half, the judgments (the seals, the trumpets, and the bowls) are expounded on, and each Tribulation event is highlighted. I’m sure that this book will serve you well in your understanding of The Tribulation as it is given to us in the Scriptures.

There are many things that a good book on heaven will give us—as I hope this book will. It should satisfy your curiosity in a good way. That is, it should show you many of the delights that heaven has to offer, and therefore give you a good taste of heaven, enough that you will want to continue to go back and read more about it in Scripture. Overall, it should prepare you for what is to come—in a way that you will be planning for it and investing in it, and getting your life in order for it.

I never thought that I would write a memoir—for the public to read. My original thought was to write it more for myself. I wanted to bring to my mind things that I may have forgotten. I thought that writing things down would help me to remember things; and I wanted to try to make sense out of it and discover how God has been working in me over the years. In reading this book I hope you will see how God has had His eye on me, watching over me. I think that is the hope of every person.
